I would really love to see at some point, some kind of server boss, or world boss, that involves everyone to take part in, in order for people to get rewards and not just have it as whoever is pay to play gets the best rewards, could be a monthly boss fight or something that rewards things like cores, sublimation or anything else that's useful that even free to play players could benefit from

I got the flora thing fully completely and just collect currency once every 2 days.

NGL, its... not a lot?! loads of HS at Anniv is usual, for me as a 6.5year old player early game rewards dont mean a lot, new arti is whale toy again, gamemodes theyve showed is the Flora's dogsht, eternal dogsht,.. the only stuff I wanna know is the new event cycle, thats it. Flora's workshop is an absolute pain in the ass to get through, but the rewards are pretty nice, so I'd let that pass. Fortress defense is literally unplayable for anyone with a low-end device, we lost the chance to farm Stellar Shards and I won't give up on being sassy about that. Ethereal realm is too complicated with the guide being barely useful. The enemies either die in one hit, or would take 100 rounds to kill, assuming you survive, of course. There are too many resources to pay attention to when the reward is the equivalent of beating 1 planet in VV. Devs, if you can see this, I know you can make good gameplay. Gate of the Void is great, Tower of Dream is also nice, Aspen Dungeon is wonderful, even tho it just landed a double Carrie Russell on 250. We still love this game, so please, keep making things that actually feel like Idle Heroes. Starting off with class seal land, temporary faction change mechanic and in-game IHXC.

The ethereal realm real is such fucking garbage. I have a full trans hero team, you beat the blue mobs in 1 hit with lofa, the purple ones die when using antlers, then the boss..... 0.05% dmg, like wtf? Great another game mode for the mega whales lol. You already need the rare resource to upgrade lvl 3 of the main tower, which only a handful of players (whales) will be able to do I guess.

7:00 Core swap will be the best if it's true. Even it will just for anniversary players need it so badly

I don't want to just spread gloom and doom, but this game has been going down for a while. Last anniversary was the biggest let down. And honestly, Barry, if you care about the game, I think you should give them some feedback about how they are running things, and not really listening to the community. I'm basically at this point just slowly sizzling out myself, and not playing on weeks I find "meh". I'm on old player. Maybe 5 years or so. I have 300k+ gems. I don't need any ressources. Chasing destiny as someone who spent like 100$ once, because I find that fair after being entertained for years. So I "bought" the game. Is just not really fun. There is no point in playing anymore. New gamemodes that nobody cares about. Garbage event after garbage event. Any slight, minor, miniscule improvement ever made is like 1 year behind what matters. I don't even WANT to be F2P, but nothing in the game has any value to purchase. It's a drop in the water. I've said it so many times. Why not have ONE single "F2P" event, that costs like 50-100$ bucks and you get to max a full event like if you were a whale spender. It's one WEEK we are asking for out of 52 weeks in a year. And I think people wouldn't mind paying that once a year to play a game. I don't even care if whales can 2x the event by still paying 500-1000$ on top of the 100$ so they still get twice the amount, so DH games don't lose revenue that week. And yes, I understand making content for whales who bring in 90% of the money makes sense. However, I doubt many whales would like to play a games with 10% or less of the current player base.

Oh yea, a new anniversary code with 1k gems and 5 puny treasure coupons. How generous. Let me basically put it like this. The BARE minimum this event is a core swap. If they don't have that, it's probably the last nail in the coffin for me, and I imagine many others. It should already have been there last anni. I have played AFK journey for 19 days. There is lore/story if you want to do that. There is countless boss battles and content to do. There is an auto-battle feature you can just keep running. You can get an actually competitive team with no or little investment. There are modes where everyone, no matter how much you spend, are on the same level, like honour duels. So everyone can participate.

Like seriously no, stop acting like every major event has to do something ridiculously insane and different, they're better than normal events and relative to the current value they're all great. 800 scrolls is quite literally a free core chest just like that no effort required, how is that alone not reasonably good for you?? AFKJ is such a boring game, you get to a point where your just doing the same thing every single day with no sense of meaningful progression. Its pretty and has a story otherwise not much to gain by playing it, but 19 days is totally all you need to find that lol

The fact that the Anniversary of a game, can be rivaled by another random event earlier in the year is baffling to me. beyond that, I think I've already covered what I expect. So I'd love if you were more specific. Just out of curiosity. How long how you played the game? Do you play all the new gamemodes? Do you enjoy them, or find them tedious? Are you a spender? I can 100% tell that AFKJourney will die out for me, but it claims to be a journey. So if that journey is 3 months, maybe I'll buy a 30$ pack, and uninstall and say "thank you for the entertainment". And quit. But the fact that it has features that are so basic, and yet Idle heroes does not after YEARS, is just very surprising. And it's not like we haven't asked for them. We ask constantly. And they never deliver. So yea, maybe it would be cool if it was 50 train tickets (normal ones btw not even event), and we got a core swap event and maybe 2 cores and 2 sub chests. It's supposed to be the biggest event of the entire year for the game. With new players getting into it. Everyone saving for it for 6+ months or more, typically. But yea, obviously I can just keep my mouth shut, quit and move on, but I'm here because I really liked the game. Especially before trans heroes, where anyone with enough time could technically get a full team and compete.

Hmm, more idle settings.... wish they'd throw all the new micromanagementment modes behind a icon on home screen not seal land n tower etc.

Totally unrelated to this segment, but with all the controversy between the US and China about the concern of personal information breaches happening on Chinese international applications, curious to know if DH shares our info with their government? I found it unusual that we were required to link our game account to their discord bot in order to receive rewards about a month ago. I mention this only because discord servers have been breached in the past and I was affected by it. Something to keep in mind 😊

New artifacts are not important anymore. Probably can't even get them f2p in the first year. I still don't have a single piece of the 3 latest artifacts lol EDIT: For the people that says i am doing something wrong for not getting the last 3 artifacts is because, I DON'T NEED THEM. They are not really needed and i have other artifacts to fully build first and i have 800k+ power so that means i have a lot of heroes and i need a lot of flags to put on my tenants for sure so I DON'T PICK ARTIS ANYMORE, i PICK THE FLAGS. and when i get an artifact chest. i get what i need to complete my incomplete artis so when everything is done. and only then, i can start to look at other artifacts. and by then, there is going to be 3+ more new artifacts lol

@vOId048 no we're just saying that there have been atleast 2 splendid worth of free artis in the last 3-4 months so it's rather hard to not have the last 3 new artis in some shape of form (unless they're talking about deific ones which they seemingly aren't but eh)

The preview seems underwhelming. I'm slightly concerned about the focus on speeding players through the early game. Barry and other IH content creators have shown how quickly you can get your first transcendence hero, so why make it even faster? Personally, I need more cores of origin. I can't level up my temple or strengthen my heroes without more cores, so I've been stuck playing the same content with the same team. I could buy cores during events, but I'm not excited enough about this game anymore to spend money.

I do agree that the process to get the first E5 on an account, even free to play, is quite fast. Its just that the process almost requires one or two good events, and even a highroll somewhere in between everything. Thats why I think that changing the rewards in events and making new things for the early game is necessary. Right now there is things that could be done to improve the fun, the process, in IH. Heres some: since summoning heroes with HS is possible for all players, they shouldnt require VIP 3 to summon heroes with the energy in the summoning circle. Set a limit on how much gems 5 bagspaces can cost, then when players reach that limit, the loop of the gemcost per 5 bagspaces starts again. Reduced marketplace prices once a month. Possibilities to earn extra account EXP. Could be in existing game modes. Either by some extra content, or through letting players make choices in regards to rewards, where account EXP would be an option. Hopefully they have some similar plans for IH in the future.
