Interesting, you can already buy high quality pal oil at the merchant, as with new update, you can also now buy the pal fluid too, so ranch option is for those that want free slow option to get those materials

i took a break from Palworld to focus on my school for some time, and it so cool to see all these changes and improvements. Can't wait to play again! Great video, as always!

New patch also seems to introduce random Pal Tamer encounters where you can battle them. Sneak peak of how PvP functions?

Honestly so inlove with this game, its been a while since I've found a game like this. This was an extraordinary vid and helped out a lot. Also liked the pacing :)

i wish they hadnt blocked off the back of the starting stair case as now there is no cannonical way for the player to have reached the initial area id have said block in the beach and make it a true tutorial area where you instead actually started on the beach itself what they did also blocks off access to one of the starting story logs. as an avid enjoyer of sensical story telling i think they need to perhaps make it clear that either the player accended the stairs without the thing collapsing and removing the obstruction or find a way to explain that the way back to the beach collapsed behind them perhaps with a text box.

I like that you mentioned this. One thing I wished for the game was for some slight direction leading to the journals in order kind of directing you to each one in order. Not in a sense where you have to go to that spot but that you are naturally guided to it

So basically have 20 legendary Pals at base. Bellanoir looks like a dark type so 20 Jetragons 😂

Huh, if you can get circuit boards from late game human enemies, that seems to make quartz borderline superfluous, since the only thing I can remember using it for is circuit boards. Sounds like the only thing you really need to go outside your base for is sulfur and coal. The need for coal for refined ingots seems like you still need something of a minding base to me, unless there's something I've missed. Sulfur's fairly easy to get and you don't need much to produce a lot of ammo. If you can reach a point where you only need ingots and pal ingots though, there's almost no need to leave your base for any "basic" crafting material.

The best coal base I have found is ironically the "ore base" he destroyed at the beginning of the video, the one on the super tall hill that cannot get raided. There's 7 ore rocks and like 4-5 coal rocks there. The only thing I use coal for is refined ingots, and those only come in handy when repairing weapons or crafting certain ammo types I noticed. I have an ore mining base in the volcanic region (8 ore rocks) but now that the ore mining site is out, I'll be scrapping it in favor of a raid boss battlefield base.

sadly cant attach the stairs next to the foundations for some reason.....you can on top just not on the side next to them

random tip for new players: if you capture a trader and put him in your base you can buy stuff from him all the time and dont have to worry about him leaving :)

My captured Legendary Pals and bosses HP were nerfed! Frostallion and Jetragon hp was dropped to 4k. Bosses hp dropped to 4 to 5k!

I just found out there were updates on xbox. After checking for myself, the base game seems a little more stable teleporting between different areas, but dungeons still crash after taking a few steps.

They need to allow more than 3 bases. Honestly. With everything in the game I currently have 5 bases. I turned off decay so I can manually go to a old base and do what I need woth all my structures still there. Also tower bases have 0 in all three stats. So they are useless just look cool to have them when u could have gotten them.

The rocks really doesn't make sense. you can still get down there. It makes an even better base now.

I wonder if all the changes aren't removing too much of the grind I love, or are replacing one grind by a worse one. An electric incubator needs 50 refined ingots, 15 circuit boards and 10 ancient parts. Which means, I will probably never use them because it's just one grind replaced by another. Okay, it's probably too soon to make a judgement because I've played it only for three hours with the new patch.

You mean you HAVEN'T been grinding out those legendary weapon schematics then? Cause that's how I got my stacks and stacks of Ancient Technology Parts. In general, it's just a good idea to re battle world bosses for the parts.

@@affablesage9582 I have a lot of ancient technology parts, and I'm grinding it a bit, but so far, I would see it as a waste to invest it in electric incubators just to breed some eggs a minute faster, especially if your settlement isn't built in a place with extreme climate.

We just need now is miner places for coal and quartz and sulfer cuz without those you still need to have a farm for those extra materials

The building seems worse to me cant even place the stairs at the bottom of the house to lead up into the house, wont let me no matter how i try to angle it and it was super easy before

Did they fix the dungeon crash bug? Cause everytime my Xbox Series S goes into a Dungeon, my game just loves to crash real quick.

I noticed this too and haven't had a single dungeon crash since the update and I've been in about 40 of them. This is on Series X however.

I refuse to destroy my ore base. Same location as yours, but I've built a tower in the center as a multilevel base and I'm proud of it. Also, its still a good source of coal.

The update is now available on xbox but none of the crashes have been fixed. The raidboss crashed my game so try it at your own risk 😂

Xbox/ Microsoft has to go through the update to make sure everything is good. steam doesn't do this, so there's a slight delay

Nerfing the tower bosses was such an L for the game. They already patched the ability to catch them and it was a cool Easter egg to have caught them and be able to have them at full health.

I’ve not been able to explore the caves. If I get in a cave, I can only get past the first part… it then black screens me, and I’m back to the Xbox dashboard 🥲
