i didn’t know that centrifuges were used. i’ve only ever seen people scraping out the whole tray, honeycomb and all. its nice that there’s a way to get the honey without destroying all the bees hard work on the comb! 🐝

Reminds me of my father. He raised bees. For years as a young child I hated honey bees (stings)....but as I matured and saw the benefits. If not allergic, getting stung once monthly by a honey bee actually helps arthritis. Eating honey that is local to where you are also greatly reduces allergies and helps the bee stings not hurt so bad, for me anyway. Another thing is bees do not like dark colors (black, navy blue, dark gray) It reminds them of predators i.e. bears and skunks. That is why bee suits are light colored. So they be come defensive....not violent. Honey Bees are not intentionally aggressive. They can sense fear (certain hormones are released from humans and animals). Remember it's their lively hood to create food for the hive. When that is taken, they respond. However, if the bee keeper does not remove the excess honey or add another "Super" (box of frames for honey) the bees will run out of room. I am not an expert. This is what my father told me. He raised a small group of bee hives until he was 80 and could no longer do it. I hope others will continue to raise honey bees. They do more than just make honey. Our crops and flowers depend on them. 🐝

Непосвящённому в тонкости производства мёда, может показаться как здесь всё продуманно и безупречно. Я бы не придерживалась такой точки зрения. Не буду их перечислять, но то, что мёд на выходе очень жидкий и после качки ему даже не дают, как говорят пчеловоды, "отпыхнуться", остыть. Он ещё как-бы парной, а его сразу фасуют. Повышенное количество влаги несложно определить по той струе мёда, которая стекает в баночку, не образуя на поверхности упругую, нерастекающуюся пирамидку. Такой мёд с повышенной влажностью никогда долго не будет храниться.

Вопрос, мёд ли это? По структуре, минимум половина сахарный сироп. Мёд, даже не зрелый образует, хоть не большие, но ступеньки, а у этого просто кружок на входе в банку.

Українська пасіка славилась на весь світ. Скільки в Україні задавили такі славетні ремесла. А зараз уже їх непідняти, бо кажуть не вигідно, не має доріжки протоптаної. Дивлюсь на це відео і серце крає, і радіє, згадую як я у сезон працювала в пасіці. Первий тиждень, був для мене кошмар, де пасічник заради мене уловив 12 бджіл, які цілий тиждень агресивно на мене дивились. А тоді сказав знімай маску, і з тих пір ніодна некусала. А тих 12 він убив, бо після мене вони йому довго набридали, почти цілий день. Тільки вийду а вони як вовки, знають що я поряд. А пасіка на виїзді, куди я дінусь. Добре що є люди які цим займаються, хай Всевишній оберігає їх, їхне ремесло. Ви спитаєте чого ремесло, тогощо тут як і в ремеслі багато тонкості, майстри мене зрозуміють.

The suits aren't to Guard against a few stings , they are in case the bees go mental and swarm. Which could be 500 stinging at once (unlikely but....)

In the USA we usually wait until the honey is ripe and entire frame is capped before harvesting. Too much unripe nectar leads to fermentation.

В Казахстане у нас такой сухой климат, а влажность мёда очень низкая, что нам хоть вообще незакрытые рамки качать можно! Мёд никогда не бродит.

@@Serezhka_Ponemnozhku I feel your bees harvest nectar and dry it to less than 18% moisture to make honey. I agree this may happen quickly in a dry environment. Some harvest nectar and dry it mechanically. In my humble opinion, this is cheating nature.

There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought. [708]- i.e., delicious substances found by the bee.
