Light and darkness dragon is actually from the manga did not use it in the anime when he was part of the society of light, he used a union deck

Me: sees Madolche support and goes nuts. I love that they are getting new support. Good thing I kept all my stuff for the deck as well so I only need the new cards.

The Light and Darkness Dragon stuff can easily be a Dragon link deck.

I think the idea behind the Madolche trap is that you use it to summon Glass because her effect to shuffle cards triggers when a Madolche is sent to the grave. It is not a detach effect. So you bounce back to hand, summon Glass, and immediately on resolution, you fire her effect to shuffle.

Hear me out, the new light and darkness support blends really well with the new Tachyon cards 1. Free level 8s 2. Locks into dragons 3. Usage of both light and dark attributes

Wow! You have good hunches. You actually called the Madolche support! I’m glad to see the support too. I stopped playing it on MD, but I did enjoy it, especially with Vernusylph, while I was playing it. I like their shuffling gimmicks.

The LADD fusion is genuinely made for branded: lubellion fusion into albion into this one, and everything is done, all by itself. And Albaz alone can do all of this if the opponent controls a light monster.

Its crazy you can search both materials for light and darkness dragon lord with melody of awakening dragon! (Blue-eyes and levianeer)

@justnutz Actually sorry to break it to you Fam, but Light and Darkness dragon was not from the Society of Light arch. Light and Darkness dragon is a Manga card and the Manga is a different story altogether. This is just his Manga spirit card like His Ojama Yellow in the Anime

those extra deck monsters were everything they have asked for years. an extra deck monster that gave them a reason, for being able to do all these insane combos that led up to zero interuption. the xyz fixes that perfectly. and the pink monster as well lets them search out their interuption traps including this new one no more xyzing everything into glass teacher and linking stuff into sistart and ending on nothing besides a trap if u were able to search it with salon. now you end on stuff

The Light and Darkness Dragon fusion seems like it might be a bit overpowered. It's omni negation effect isn't once per turn. Branded can really abuse this card. You can use the LADD fusion as material for extra deck monster to get it off the field on your turn to prevent your effects from being negated and it can even summon another copy of itself.

13:32 As someone that played Madolche before, this caught me off guard, it's the first time I saw someone happy or exited to the idea of "now Messengelato is searchable" I know it was out of misremembering how the card works and being a bit rusted with the archetype, but that made my day already xD. The new Madolche cards are really good, I wonder, now the desired end board going first is new Tiara, the link 3, Promenade and Dessert/one of the counter if you play them right? that sounds pretty decent or exchanging one of the traps for teacher if the matchup favours that. I like that flexibility for an archetype that's usually lock in itself (thanks to Petingcessoeur) Also I don't know how bad Nibiru really is, it would depend on the hand but you could save the Vernalizer's to play after a nib or just negate it with Orange Light. I feel like, if Valar could gain Resonance Counters herself, she could be a more decent card for both her protection and her disruption. I find funny that NOW that Light and Darkness dragon is seeing a bit more of competitive play after I don't know how many years (thanks to Horus) they give support for that "theme"... that doesn't really help in bringing it out. Other anime/manga archetype support focuses in summoning or using the main card that is a vanilla (or vanilla-like, like Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon), while this, that has a potentially good card, chooses to ignore it and make a new version of it.

As a madolche fan it's great to see more support, and even better to see a version of tiaramisu that works on the opponents turn. Vaalmonica is a deck I want to be playable but I agree this card really isn't enough. Wish it had gotten one or two more cards to address its issues.

Neither player can respond to the LADD lvl 3s attack gain effect so you don't negate your own effect with the fusion. Also you can chain the quickplay to your own Fusion so it gains 2k/2 more negates, and won't get negated since it is once per chain.

Memento fusion got revealed too - ITS INSANE

Negating special summons is powerful. We need more easy ways to get resonance counters but I think its a step in the right direction. It keeps Nib from going to crazy and sets it up to be a fair and powerful deck.

The problem with Vaalmonica is literally unless you have a specific follow-up any handtrap in the game will stop you from putting the 3 counters on the scales and then you can't do anything.

VAALMONICA support is such a godsend. We finally have a win con.

Not really? This card is incredibly clunky and getting 6 counters on the board to make it a towers is not the easiest thing in the world to do for this deck unless you open all Vaalmonica cards in hand and no non engine. I'd rather sit on a rank 4 plus the light link 1 almost every time as my endboard, and the dark link 1 can otk extremely easily so I don't see the point of the multi attacking. It's a decent card in a bubble, just... not good for Vaalmonica.

@@e-tan3911 If you open access to Seletrice and Assault synchron you can end on 6 counters uninterrupted, otherwise 5 and you generally end on at least 1 trap so there's your sixth counter if you have 5.

The problem with the Link 2 Vaal is that it requires the Link 1's that do more and a better job at what shes trying to do. For a link 2, she should have been able to copy the effects of Vaal monsters, plus the summon negation, and tower eff.

You use link 2 for the Tenpai match-up mostly, as you can summon her in opp's Battle Phase using Angelo effect. 3k statline+tower+ judgment strike effect allow you to live through one turn

I think the idea is to use it to otk easily. Also you can link into it on opponents turn after using the link 1 effect for an extra disruption/body to help you survive the turn.

Dragonmaid seems pretty good with this new dragon support. Instan Sheou within 2 or 3 summon, then combo off with the rest dragon

The vaalmonica link is amazing. Already with testing ive managed to put an end board of it +zebufera + trap on field. That is 6 disruptions, counting a summon negate, 2 compulsorys, a snatch steal and the opponent's board getting decreased by 1000+ atk

... It's mediocre. You could already get 2 compulse, snatch steal, and a pop 3 off making IP instead, or just using those 3 cards for an xyz like Bagooska or Dweller if need be. This card fights for counters with the light link 1 and doesn't help the deck's major problems, which are it's over reliance on 2.5 card combos(meaning lack of non engine as well) and weakness to disruption.

Light and darkness dragon might be branded support, it can be made super easily with lubellion

the quickplay can chain to lord since lord is once per chain. you can still gain atk even if its not too weak to negate. also they might work with armed dragon thunders or even malefics

These madolche cards fix a major issue the deck had having only one in archetype interruption on the opponent turn. And not having an extender link I’m loving this new support

Ok, ok, some good support here. Things getting a nice buff. If armed dragon got a few more cards, they might be worth playing again. I'm excited to see memento getting a new fusion, but no s/ t negate still...

That loght and dark spell is pretty good for tachyon deck specifically the one with nebula galactic and schwarzschild dragon to fix your hand

Fun fact the spell doesn’t give you more negates because you need to lower attack AND defense by 1000 and spell only boosts attack

The Blue-Eyes support go crazy

I think the new Madolche Trap is tailored for Teacher. You bring her out on the opponent’s turn (1800 isn’t a high threshold), then you use her effect to mess with the opponent’s GY. Then you attach this card to her the next turn. Probably a 1-of card. The Link 3 is a nice extender… automatically searching out and summoning Messengelato means we can comfortably get a 2nd Spell/Trap search, if not a 3rd. Ticket/Salon, Promenade, and the new Trap. Also can Link back into Sistart for the protection. I think this card is a 1-of as well. Which leaves the new Rank 5, literally the same as Tiaramisu except at QE speed, and relatively easy to bring out. Probably a 2-of if possible so you don’t get ED sniped. I wish there was another main deck monster (and I know lots of people wanted a potential Rank 3 Xyz), but I can’t complain. Madolche got support!

Originally I wasn't super excited for even more Chaos Dragon support, but banishing a level 8 Dragon from your Extra Deck means that you could summon that banished Synchro using Malefic Paradigm Dragon, which is some real nice synergy. The Madolche stuff is crazy, though Madolche has always been an archetype with an interesting idea, but focuses a bit too much on the act of shuffling back rather than just keeping your Graveyard empty in its entirety, which I personally feel is a bit more interesting. Still really cool cards, just not enough for me to play the deck

New madolche trap also pretty nuts as its one removal and potential 1 more fraise effect in opp turn, if the first one not enough. Coz yea fraise not HOPT so u can use 2 more even if u got 2 traps.

Man I really want something big for Vaalmonica. I like the way it works, but I think it still feels kinda fragil compared to other decks. We'lll see how the cards comming this weak will impact the deck and going forward into the infinite forbidden, hopefully we get even more support.

Light and darkness dragon was chazz’ Ace in the manga actually. The Society o f Light Deck was called the White Knight Deck. In the manga chazz was a whole different beast as he lost 1 duel, iirc only against Zane, and won every single other one he was in. He actually was a worthy rival in the manga

That battle phase guy should’ve just had a lingering effect that buffs your dragons by 1500

Honestly I like it. The art is nice. It's not that difficult to get the counters on the cards. And the negation fits with the theme. And her being 3000 attack and the counters lowering attack she'll most likely be able to beat over a good majority of monsters

The spell that boosts the Dark Light Fusion Dragon is a Quick-Play so ya can chain it whenever the Fusion uses his negates (its once per chain so it won't negate it) to give him 2000 ATK boost and insure he won't be run over by battle after the second if not third negate

Angelica negates on resolution. Super poly says "cannot activate card or effects in response to it's activation"

I thought Madolche was pretty 'complete' after peting/salon/promenade made it so it can easily 1 card combo without any supplemental engines but rank 5 tiaramisu is nuts. and having a beast link so messengelato isn't tied to hootcake can hopefully change up lines instead of always doing magileine > peting > anjelly > hootcake > messengelato etc.

It was complete but its endboards for turn 1 became underwhelming over time. The new support basically modernizes Madolche for 2024, combined with Verns which provide extenders for the deck when your stuff gets interrupted. Now you don't even have to rely on Puddingcess to end on sick boards. Even just ending on Fraise, Link Cat, Promenade, Ticket, and Dessert is more than enough interruptions.

It is ridiculously easy to get 3 counters be doing damage to yourself in Vaalmonica its the lifegain part that is a little harder. So this like 2 is rather easy to make. Its gives you a way to otk without having to rely on the lifegain link 1

Branded plays too much on your opponent's turn to use LADD, he'd just negate their own effects. Plus, if they brought him out, they'd lose access to their end phase effects like Albion and Cartesia.

There is some Branded Banishment lines you can do. Let’s say you have Mirrorjade, Cartesia and a Bystial Lubellion to tribute Albion to the grave. End Phase set Branded Banishment and it’s a free access to 3 omni’s after the 2 interruptions from Cartesia and Mirror jade. It’s a really good Branded Banishment target because you reborn Albion and fusion Albion and Bystial Lubellion.

All the LADD support only increases ATK so the negates remain at 3

1. IDK what "negate era" means, negates are and will always be a part of the game. However, if you are talking about the Baronne ban, that is tcg only, ocg never banned baronne. Branded wouldn't touch ladd with a 10 foot poll. They like playing on both turns, why the hell would they summon LADD when he just negates their own shit?

@@e-tan3911 Nvm then my bad, this thing inherit the same con as LaDD which is forced negate. But then again, this thing will start to become a threat if you're opponent lack the resource. It has a solid 3k body and even when destroyed, 3rd eff will revive a dragon. Doubt Albaz won't abuse this.

@@BigBob715 Why would they? Albaz wants to activate their own effects on your turn, this card doesn't let them. Plus Branded's problem is usually that they struggle getting negated mid combo, if they set up their full board, they probably win. This doesn't change that.

That Vaalmonica link monster is basically unplayable, getting to 3 counters is a 2,5 card combo, getting to 6 counters is like drawing exodia (except for the fact that you still lose). The deck needs a way to get the third counter on the opponent's turn but this support makes me think they want Vaalmonica to be some kind of blind 2nd deck? But their gameplay falls apart the second the opponent activates any singular staple released in the past 7 years, idk the support they've gotten is weird.
