The shortages of meds, supplies, staff, etc was eye opening for me. Not only do you nurses care for your patients but their families, too. You are literally our lifeline. Hi Kayla! I am praying for you. As you were sharing the trials of being a nurse right now, our little nurse walked in from her long shift and started talking to you, saying oh yeah it is! No staffing ! Praying for the nurses, NP’s, and techs. We understand the struggle. Lord strengthen and bless you real good.

I've worked in healthcare. I can relate. Bless you for being and stickinng with it. I'm also a junkie that has gone to many thrift stors and auctions and seen truckloads pass through my hands. It get's in your blood and stays forever. Cuzz it's fun to openn those boxes and look through all the stuff. Much of it is better and pretier than what is made today. I get giddy when an auction bill lists the words "barn finds". :-)

I feel for you. Ive been an LPN with an an associate degree of science for over 30 years... March will be 6 years that I work in an office the past 3 i have worked at home. My mind still wants to be a nurse but my body doesn't.. and with staffing shortages... its safer that I dont work patient care to keep patients and my back and knees safe. I had covid January 2 22022 then bronchitis and sinus on top/ 2 weeks after. Its been tough to get energy back but a blessing to work at home. Keep doing what you do. I'm in my 50s ... Gods plan isnt always our plan but faith, and family and friends get is through day by day and thrigting antiquing and crafting...lol

I found a sign at the local thrift store that says "We Have Been Thru So Much Together and Most of it Has Been Your Fault " and I gave it to my late husband for our 25th anniversary

Thank you for all your unselfishness in helping us get through this. We seem to forget those who put their lives on the line. Kayla I have a whole new respect for our health care workers. You are all appreciated so much! I just recently got out of the hospital after a 12 day stay with covid pnuemonia. Oh my I had amazing doctors and nurses and respiratory therapists. There were many traveling healthcare workers I had also. I know there were days they were short staffed and I would tell them I was so sorry they had such big work loads. We also had a big ice and snowstorm and here in Texas people don't leave home. They were short staffed during that also. My heart goes out to you all working in the medical field!! I know you are an excellent nurse! You have compassion and a love for the Lord! Oh I have been so emotional...God carried me through my hospital stay each moment of each day! ❤

Hi I follow you from Simply Lake and Lace. I am sorry to hear about this situation at work I pray that you soon get the comfort and rest that you need to keep going for your patients. I just wanted to share that you nurses make such a big impact on us. More than you know. In my case with each of my three deliveries I had multiple nurses, some awful rude ones, and there was always that one nurse who didn’t need to speak so much to me she KNEW what I needed and wanted. Never had I felt so spoiled in my life with those nurses who I clearly remember their names and faces. And I am sure you are one of those because you have such a light and live spirit. We would never guess that you get tired, weak or sad, because you are just so bright. But keep going I know you are missed at work and brighten up your patients’ room as soon as you walk in.

So glad to see another video, but no need to apologize. I think we all understand the taxing situation on health care workers and am praying that the Lord will provide relief and give each one peace and rest. I loved the Knox jar and the sweet respect and love you show. There was a cast iron trivet at 6:06 "No matter where I serve my guest it seems they like my kitchen best". My mother had that one and I am honored to have it now. I lost my Daddy to covid in July 2020 and seven weeks later lost my mother to dementia complications. They were both Christians so I rejoice in knowing I will see them again, but things have been hard😪. I was especially touched by one of your finds...the Bible with the tabs, as I remember helping Daddy put the tabs on his Bible. He wore out several. I remember him putting duct tape on the binding of one lol. Didn't mean for my comment to be so long!
