Congratulations on your and Ben's anniversary! MP is my favourite, no questions asked. I do relate to Fanny the most, maybe that's why - we had a comparable childhood and it affected our personalities in similar ways (I don't believe all of Fanny's meekness and passivity are naturally hers). I love MP because it shows a variety of personalities in both good and bad light, and how the excess in either direction can be. For me, JA is an author whose works I like better and better the more I read them!

Persuasion is my absolute favourite JA book. Minimal dialogue but oh so beautiful!

Sense and Sensibility/ Persuasion but I adore Northanger Abbey too. Lucy Worselys' book on Jane is superb, she's a wonderful writer as well as broadcaster. Happy Anniversary, what a beautiful bookish rose.

Absolutely delightful video! My favorite Jane Austen novel? "Persuasion," hands down, with "Lady Susan" a close second.

My favorite is always a toss up between Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion. 3 is always Northanger Abby, 4 and 5 is a toss up between Emma and Sense and Sensibility and 6 is always Mansfield Park (poor Mansfield Park!) What a fun haul! Loved seeing all your goodies.

Persuasion for me,after that Pride and Predjudice I like Northanger Abbey, which is not always so popular. I think I like it as I live close to Bath. I've just celebrated my 40th wedding anniversary. Thank you Claire 🖋✒️❤

Pride & Prejudice is my favorite! I read it for the first time in high school, and it was the first classic that I really latched onto and could understand. I remember getting into a spirited discussion about it in class and realizing, oh, you can have these feelings about old books, too. I should probably reread it, it's been ages!

Emma is my favourite Jane Austen novel and one comfort novels as well. What I like about Emma is that she makes mistakes but as the story goes on she learns compassion as she falls in love with Mr Knightley. Mr Woodhouse makes me laugh with all his fussing over wedding cake and illnesses but I think he is quite lonely and cares for Emma. Many people I've met remind me of Miss Bates with their non stop chattering! Mr Knightley is lovely and nicer than Mr Darcy as he is warmer, gives up his house so Emma can continue to live with her father at Hatfield. I'm also a big fan of pride and prejudice, I love 1995 adaptation, it is every special to me and I've watched it countless times. Love your bonnet! 📖🖋❤x

Favorite novel is Persuasion. That’s also my favorite film adaptation of Pride & Prejudice ❤ The Persuasion with Ciarán Hinds and Amanda Root is also my favorite film adaptation.

That's such a lovely book haul! My book club was reading all the Bronte's last year, but I did squeeze in Emma and thoroughly enjoyed it. I hope to be reading more of her books very soon.
