Wow, Mrs Barber, that was an amazing hair cut. Rufus is now even more of a daddy mini-me. He even has his daddy's quiet demeanour. I love how you encourage your children. Your calm but firm voice, as you gently explain how something is a little too strong or fast, leaves the child not feeling hurt but happy to do as suggested. I'd love to see you write a book on your parenting style. It obviously works a treat. Your children show no signs of distress or discomfort in their lives. They are not overexposed online, and really appreciate everything they have, especially their parents and siblings. Well done mom and dad.

Rufus’ hair came out amazing. You did a wonderful job. And I understand how EXPENSIVE a barber can get, so doing your kids hair is not only beneficial but also a bonding experience. Evan as well 🥰 I still can't believe I met you guys. I was so shocked and star-struck as I've been following you all for at least 8 years now, but always from England. I'm on a working holiday visa in Australia for a year and only in Perth by chance to work at the local pottery workshop (when I'm not serving coffees haha), and in the back of my mind, especially when I've seen your IG posts pop up, I've thought to myself what the chances would be that I'd bump into you. But in the "imagine - that would never happen!" sort of way. I even contemplated reaching out to you about making some personalised pottery sets for all the kids but I never built up the courage. So when I got called into work on my day off and walked out to serve my first customer of the day and I saw you and Ro my jaw literally dropped. I honestly thought I was dreaming - it just seemed so unlikely, especially as you live so far away! And the fact that I wasn't meant to be working, and I usually live in England, and I am leaving Western Australia in June to continue my travels. I honestly wonder what the mathematical chances are that I'd ever bump into you. I still can't believe it! You were both so lovely - I'm sorry for being so very nervous and star struck haha. I hope you had a wonderful day visiting your friend down south! ❤

Really makes his curls shine! Also, he doesn't just *look* like his Dad, he also has a very similar manner of speaking!

Rufus's hair looks so good! I take my boy's twice a year to get their hair cut (before school starts and again during Winter break), then I try to keep up with trims throughout the year. It costs too much to keep up regular hair cuts at a salon (I haven't cut mine in 3yrs 😬)

I think most proper barbers and hairdressers do know their stuff, but hair appointments used involve consultations whereas now you’re just in and out so there is no time to get to know a persons head and hair. It’s hard work finding and keeping a singular person to be “your” hairdresser. Good work though with the wee lad! Don’t forget to maintain your clippers with cleaning and oiling; my son always said it hurt when I hadn’t cleaned them in a while between cuts 😅
