I’m Kate by the way. Please don’t think all spurs fans are delusional. I’m not and the majority are not. That doesn’t make us negative we are just realistic and have had years of being the bridesmaid but never the bride. I am a united fan but what ange is doing with spurs is commendable and the way he is managing that squad depth is impressive, subbing off his best players in every game so they don’t get fatigued is a huge risk but his style of football is getting results nonetheless. Arsenal had more points after 9 games last season than Spurs do this season with a better first team and a better squad than Spurs have now and Arsenal still didn't win the league. This season Spurs were good against Arsenal and Man Utd, very lucky against Liverpool and just about managed to beat 10/9 players. Out of the other 6 teams is a draw to Brentford a win against Fulham and then the worst 4 teams in the league which include all three promoted teams. Arsenal play their first game against a promoted team this Saturday in GW10. Let's see what happens when Spurs play Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton, Villa and City.

@@sui2529 Well we could also go down the route that Arsenal had their opening goal against Man Utd wrongly disallowed and therefore could have had maximum points after 9 games. I don't buy into home and away matches to the likes of Luton, Sheffield Utd or Burnley. I expect Arsenal to win all matches against bottom 12 opposition no matter what stadium they are playing in. Spurs finished 4th two seasons ago. The league position in 2020 is not fully on Arteta as he joined in December 2019. 20/21 is his first full season finishing 8th then 5th then 2nd. Arteta has won an FA cup so in terms of trophy count he is more successful than any Spurs manager since Terry Venables in 1991.

@@stuartmcmillan9004 spurs played united, arsenal, brentford and liverpool but we aint gonna mention those games. The facts are arteta had millions in backing over nearly 5 years and ange has been at spurs for 6 months and unlike arsenal this season after five years they are winning convincingly

​@@sui2529As I mentioned earlier, Arteta started as Arsenal manager in December 2019 so he has not done a full 4 years yet so this 5 year talk is clearly horse sh!t. Let's not forget all those millions on Willian, Mari and Cedric. Richarlison cost more than Jasus, Kulusevski cost more than Martinelli, Saka who is the most valuable player in either of our squads came from our academy. Maddison cost more than Odegaard probably because he is English, same as why Ben White cost more than Romero, Van de Ven or Porro who all cost more than either Gabriel or Saliba (the best defender in either squad). Ramsdale cost a bit more than Vicario, English tax again. It is only Declan Rice that cost so much. Wenger couldn't spend for years and now we are catching up to compete after so long out of UCL. Party in 2020 was about 45 million and Ben White in 2021 was 50million. Until we decreased our squad size and wage bill it wasn't until last season you saw Arsenal start spending big. The first team plus a few additions were there for Ange as you finished 4th 2 years ago. Let's not forget that Arteta has been at Arsenal for JUST UNDER FOUR YEARS and this is his first ever managerial job and he has still been more successful than any Spurs manager in the Premier League era whilst they managed Spurs.

The only way Spurs can challenge for the title is if they bring in 3 top quality players in January, a centre back, a cover for Maddison in the no:10 role and a striker who can bag 20 goals a season. Then, they will have the depth to challenge City, Liverpool & Arsenal.

It's more so a backup leftback, a centerback, and good cover for Son. The other positions we have players for. We have Lo Celso for Maddison. Vicario is also needing better cover, but you can't have two number 1 goalkeepers. We just need good cover for udogie, VDV, and Romero and we are solid all around.
