Nice croc. Such a common thing to hear when people review the footage they just took of a croc...."it looks bigger in real life". They certainly do, and are. Guy sounds Canadian to me. Hope he had a good days fishing.

That's because they're both saltwater crocodiles.

I’ve seen that croc. We thought between 7 and 8 metres and he went under our 5m tinnie and just watched his huge tail disappear into the depths. Massive animal. His head is absolutely enormous.

I'm pretty sure it's a female. It's not over 4 meters long. Females only reach that size. Besides why would a baby croc be anywhere near a male adult croc? She's guarding her nest and those guys got too close, which is why she went in their direction after she heard the thumping sound.

thats not a female and its not his baby. crocs only stay with their babys form some weeks and from the looks of it the smaller croc is probably a couple of years old.

Seth Winters actually it's extremely rare for a female to exceed a length of 3m biggest ones out there are 3.5 female crocs don't get 4m only the males get 4m+ and this croc is atleast 14ft-15ft I've seen a 15ft croc before a long time ago but I still remember the size of him and remember crocs look twice much bigger in the flesh then they do on photos and videos

Seth Winters and the croc did not go the direction of the boat it spooked a swam off the croc saying a crocodile went to get them because that's the direction he had to go to get in the water dosen't mean anything and if he was going after them to scare them off to guard the nest the crocodile wouldn't try sneak up under water that's feeding behavior

i would say that its a male. from my experience with saltwater corocodiles is the females dont get much bigger than 3 metres. your looking at a very nice 4 to 4.5 metre male right there. a big boy indeed
