Upgrade costs need to be reduced, and more bronze needs to drop, If the average player only gets around 5000 Bronze per day (as an example) that is only 445,000 bronze, with the 89 days remaining. That isn't enough to fully upgrade your armour, and it is definitely not enough to both upgrade and get cosmetics/mounts.

@@jjstraka1982 as said, this is an example, you have to factor in, that people wont just jump on an farm, some will do achievement runs, some may just come on for an lfr a day, their are many players that do this content, and on a time limited event, those players need to have the focus put on to them as well. I personally put in a few hours per day, and i am sitll worried i wont get what i need out of this event.

These changes are definitely a step in the right direction, but they really need to lower the cost to upgrade your gear. The hundreds of thousands of bronze you need is just not worth your time for your average gamer in a limited time event.

It doesn’t matter if they can be gotten elsewhere. What matters to me is falling behind if I don’t get all the available daily legendary spools in a day. A similar feeling to AP in the past. Just feels like a lot to do in a day to be “caught up” in power. Work full time and all that. I love the change tho. Just wish it wasn’t so much daily that gave legendary.

@@funk1541while I agree as I’m also not a person with loads of free time, I also recognize that this event is supposed to be super fast and I love playing it as that. When I do get the chance to do a raid twice in one week it’s loads of fun.

Bronze should have its own buff stat on the cloak. A percentage based upgrade that gives bonus to bronze dropped. Problem solved.

Just switch the exp% buff to Bronze bonus% for max level characters. A level 70 has no use for further exp% gains, and an alt's cloak is capped at 100% of your main cloak anyway when starting out.

Gotta say until they give retroactive rewards... I hate this change... I went to town on achivements, for that reason I missed the frog farm, and am now behind those heavily... Now they give crazy rewards to people who do the achivements I've done... So I missed pretty much every power spike they made and will now fall behind even further, even though I played it like crazy...

I personally missed the frog farming but people who did farm basically got already everything they need from the event, now blizzard making changes and giving us a treat to farm for significantly more hours than those who farmed frogs cause after all we only need cosmetics and mounts from the event, not getting my cloak powerful and having it deleted after 90 days, its all about the bronze farming

The frog farmers really feel like they’re playing a different game. Had a frog farmer literally soloing my lfr wing doing like 800k dps single target

World bosses and LFR wing bonuses reset on a daily, not a weekly, basis based on my experience (despite what the in-game text is saying). I don't think there are any weekly lockouts in remix, and everything seems daily.

A good start, im still not really playing remix for a couple more weeks to see what else they buff

Changes have been good! Noticeably shorter wait times all last night. LFR used to be 20-60min avg. Last night I got in 3 and all 3 took roughly 6-11min. Massive W in my book!

I noticed the orange thread when I completed the daily heroic dungeon quest yesterday. Getting +180 strength on my protection paladin was great since I do not want to spend any bronze upgrading gear past 346. I do not understand why they want us to spend bronze to upgrade gear. It should scale with the cloak upgrades instead.

Note: At least for me, I got credit for the Scenario quest by doing the treasure trove of the thunder king on the isle of thunder

LFR rewards ARE DAILY

Something else that isn't mentioned here is that rares also drop more threads than normal. You used to get maybe 1 or 2 from a rare and now you get I think up to 10 purple threads. These are not locked out either so killing the same rare multiple times still gives you a big batch of threads. So farming rares in Vale, Timeless Isle or other end-game zones is now much more rewarding. I have only tested this on my max level main though. I don't know if it has any restrictions for alts that may still be leveling.

Tbh, I would rather be able to collect more bronze faster, than having my cloak stat boosted...

Love these changes! Makes it actually feel rewarding to play all parts of the game and not just have to grind grind grind

It's also worth noting that every single one of these completions is a daily, including the bosses.

I’m just playing to level a bunch of alts and to get some transmogs. I really hope they increase the bronze you get from every activity

It's not about the threads and the cloak, it's about the bronze economy and the cost of upgrading gear. Upgrading your armor a single tier costs more than the most expensive cosmetic, and there are like thirty tiers beyond the base 346 you start at. So to be OP like the event advertised you have to effectively buy the most expensive item THIRTY TIMES.

I LOVE the decisionmaking of Blizzard: "So we punish the players who didn't abuse the frogs and completed many quests, but the abusers who haven't done anything else yet will be able to get all the rewards still? Yeah, whatever, do it."

Sorry. i have 1 question. why i wanna maximize the cloak? if its going to reset after new expansion? dont i wanna just get achivs and transmogs? or the more power you have in cloak, the more gear it will give you when expansion comes?

The problem with the farms you said was not getting more threads. It was done for the extreme amount of bronze. We all see the issue how we should upgrade our items and getting the most of the transmog and mounts and toys. all the things tells me just for all items mounts toys you would need 800k bronze min. An then x amount of bronze for all the upgrades . The time will not be enough with the amount of bronze gathered even if you play every day

Do spools still count as a single thread

Edit: At Level 70, my LFR Weeklies reset again after the daily reset. That means you can do all LFR wings without worrying about missing out on the level 70 quest reward while leveling! I *think* if you go up a level tier, your Weekly LFR Reward resets on the daily lockout too. Yesterday i only did MSV at level 25 on LFR, and then it had the basic cache at the end for a reward, but today at level 45 I had the spool reward too. I hit level 70 today, so ill edit this comment with the result

The LFR rewards are everyday too.

Main Objective - if you want to become OP - is your equipment, not the cloak. If you get your equipment to 400+ on all slots, you're OP for almost any content

IMO threads isn't the issue and is just bait. Farming bronze is more important as it allows you to upgrade gear (that has stats) , however upgrades at lvl 70 is really expensive ~100k bronze for 1 max ilvl item.

Threads is the issue bro even the frog framers don’t have max gear their cloaks have 40k primary stat alone and gives them millions of hp. Threads makes you stronger allowing you to farm harder content for free giving your more bronze doing Soo on hc or mythic is like 20k-30k bronze

you must only get the good spools if you're lvl capped. i only got a minor spool for the dailies

Now, if Blizz could just fix the borked scaling at level 70, that'd be great. Second boss in heroic Siege of Niuzao for example one-shots you instantly when he charges you and bops you up in the air and then whirlwinds for way more damage than your entire health pool in the first hit. Boss essentially becomes undefeatable when he smushes everyone left right and center, and if you foolishly respawn instead of dropping group, you need to defeat all of his trash all over again before you get another go at getting one-shotted... I had actually forgotten that bit, it has been so long since I could just wade through everything in that place. :D

I've tanked it aswell and ye he hits as hard af. As a tank you need defensive up for it. You also have to drag him into the slime to stop his attack speed buff from trying to compete with NASA.

Gotta level up your gear. Get legendary gems equipped for the hp and level your gear, you'll see a difference suuuper quick. I do wish they lowered gear upgrade cost though.

Right now the MoP remix seems like an elitist private orgy. First they were only inviting froggers, then it was a couple of days when they only invited ppl with ward (which I didnt even know what it was!), next its gonna be some new sh*t and if you re late to the party you are screwed! Good idea, poor impementation.

Since power ups are temporary but rewards from bronze currency are not... i think the most important in this mode is the Bronze currency! Waiting for the farm video :P

there's an addon i use called "LS: Toasts" and you can move the notifications with that. Reeeeally handy, i have them pop up next to my minimap, out the way.

I'm very disappointed that the content changes aren't awarding the achievement threads retroactively since I've done them. Also I don't do group content so I really wish the questing had been what was buffed.

Everyone who has farmed frogs can now make their achievements and be rewarded twice. Anyone who has followed the rules and taken care of the achievements will not receive an extension for the cape twice

Nothing in Remix is weekly lockout. Everything is daily. All MoP raids in the regular game are daily in solidarity as well. If you want Tusks, now is the time to get them. Garrosh skip is right beside the panda at the start of SoO.

A legendary spool is just 7 purple threads worth of stats.

Don't care about raids or gear upgrades that won't matter in TWW, I'm just about leveling alts in my favorite expansion and getting all the mounts and mogs I can. :D

I think it may be a waste of time to grind so hard to level up your gear once you get to 70 in Remix, as the newest greens for The War Within will be better anyway as with any new expansion. So far, it seems to be much faster to level an alt in Chromie Time. My first remix character hit 47 last night and just did my first dungeon and raid last night and I have been playing them since remix came out. I leveled several alts in chromie time in just a few hours.

run through daily normal raids if you're still low level, but find normal raids to join in group finder. each boss gives 12% bonus xp to cape, a couple days of mogu farming and you'll be at +150% xp quickly. that's the real move for boosting your xp gain

I'd rather have the threads transfer more to the alts. Especially the exp gain. it's annoying to do dungeons and raid all over again to get the exp boost. Samething for the rings and trinkets. Achievements should be account bound so getting them on alts is a giant boost in helping progress

This is good news for many but I am way more concerned with getting more bronze from solo play than I am player power.

The event just straight up isn’t fun until they fix the item upgrades. Threads feel fine now but I’m still in ilvl 346 gear because I don’t want to shell out my life savings to get to 360.
