Huge bream on the feeder out of specimen carp/catfish lake

Today you join me on The Farm Lake. On the Albans lakes complex . This lake is specifically a carp and catfish water , where conventional feeder fishing tactics are simply not allowed . There is a massive head of big bream ,however , These bream cause carp/catfish anglers a real headache . The team at Albans asks me to fish for the bream to remove the vast shoals and place them into the adjoining Willows lake . Truly a phenomenal day ! I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did filming it ! Westy

On the lake that I fish, it is primarily targeted by anglers seeking the big carp. And the bream and tench are viewed as ‘nuisance’. (!😮) The bream have grown big on the boat loads of boilies, particles and pellets dumped in by those anglers. I have had numerous bream over 6lb in a session, up to 11lb (which was a fantasy in my old canal fishing days). The only ‘downside’ is that the bream just don’t fight. They are kinda like “okay, just reel me in and toss me back, and let’s get this over with with the minimum of fuss”.

Hi Andrew, I also used to fish a lake which had a big head of bream , which was heavily carp fished , the bream were exactly the same in there . Hardly fought and even on light set ups they were pretty perthetic ! lol ! I must admit though , they pull hard on the farm lake . Not sure why this happens , maybe water quality possibly ..who knows 👍

Hi, Graham nice fish indeed but I'm confused when your driving its back to front, your on the left side of the car driving and the writing on your hats back to front ? regards Trev .
