Hi Claire. Happy 30th birthday. I must be getting OLD because you don’t look a day over 20 to me (ha ha!) I’m so impressed with all your new plants and especially the hoya obovata variegata. I bought a two leaf cutting earlier this year and promptly cut it into two. What a mistake that was, there were lots of roots and a node on both sides but no new growth came until today, yay! I noticed a new green “something” had popped out on one of the cuttings. Everyone says they grow very quickly but not in my experience. Hope your beautiful, healthy cutting does well for you. Keep us updated on what you do with it, I can’t wait to see how it grows. Thanks for sharing your birthday hauls and good luck with all of the plants. 🎉🥳
Ah I remember turning 30 made some big life decisions then! I still get told I look 18...ah the joys! Hope you have a wonderful birthday! Hope you get a plant shaped cake! Love that you were able to tick some plants off your wishlist! The freebie also goes by 'baby toes' they are so cute, I don't own one yet, but it's one on my list. They need bright lighting, but they can dry out when they need water I too have sometimes almost thrown the freebie as I don't spot them in the packaging! I treated myself to some Sansevieria and Haworthia for my birthday next month as I'll be going away and won't get to buy any.

The bonus plant is often called 'Baby Toes'. Its an awesome plant and the windows on top make it super special. If you like the windows effect, check out some haworthia sp. such as Cooperi, Obtusa, Truncata. I picked up a Cooperi Murasaki Haworthia and its windows are crystal clear and turn an almost teal colour after sun exposure. Enjoy!

Wow! What a birthday haul! In one video I reckon you have just about unboxed more plants than I currently own haha. Mind you, I came quite late to the plant party… I just turned 40 and only discovered my love for all things plants earlier this year, hence the modest collection. Put your hope propegation in the greencabinet and it will grow fast. Mine is growing fast, so when you talked about it was slow, I couldn’t regonize the claim so I think it must be the greencabinet that helps

Happy Birthday Claire 🥳. Peperomia Hope is such a lovely succulent. But i have failed in growing it 3 times now. For some reason it grows leggy and alot of gaps in between. And the new leaves aren’t as big as the original leaves. Looks like fingers the free succulent you got. Just notice the corner plant stand by your door the bottom plant looks a bit sad.
Ive used Cassandra Plants and for the more common houseplants and they've always been fab

Happy Birthday!! Oh to be turning 30 again. Anyways, I feel like I'm always chopping and propping my marantas because they grow like weeds in one direction and I'm trying to get a nice full round plant. Anyways, I always prop them in sphagum moss, place them in a plastic tub to keep the humidity up, throw it under a grow light (I don't have a cabinet.... yet haha) and they're ready to pot in 3-4 weeks. Never lost one that way, in fact they sometimes start pushing out new growth within that 3-4 weeks. I must admit I'm a bit jealous. I almost bought a black margin hoya yesterday when I was at one of our local nurseries. And you got a free one! Congrats! Now I want to drive back and get the one I saw, haha! Anyways enjoy the new babies. Love your videos! Rebecca
