Not an actual note from this patch... it is just a joke at how much they destroyed it with all the nerfs over the past year. Knowing the developers, there could be one person using it and they would still nerf it. At this point they should just put it in the care package and revert all the nerfs.

Nah I’m sick of nerf legends. Just making kits not function properly to change the meta is stupid. Bloodhound is supposed to be able to have enhanced vision in ult and Bangalore is supposed to block vision. How bout we try to expand the meta not cripple it.

KC and Olympus are 10x worse than worlds edge. Worlds edge can be boring, but at least the map rotation, POIs and high ground is mostly really balanced. Olympus and KC just have the worst map design.

The portal behind lifeline indicates that Lifeline prestige is in fact an Alternate Lifeline from another Dimension. Come on guys, this ain't hard.

Gotta say as someone who mostly plays duos, it feels horrible to be waiting half the season for the mode to come back just for quads to take its place again :(

Bang will probably still be meta. So I doubt it. Smoking a fight will still help block third-party from seeing what's happening and help with rotations, so they will probably still smoke everything.

no instant deploy ability should be a get out of jail free. Octane stim hurts him, bloodhound ult is 1. his ult 2. takes a second to deploy, and advertises your position for 30 seconds. Rev jump takes time to charge. Wraith Q has a charge time. Alter ult has a charge time. Ash ult has a slow start and exit animation + instant follow up. Path Q has predictable paths (tapstrafe upon landing excluded). Valk ult is slow to deploy...

The thermal was literally the only reason to ever pick up and use a 4-10x. It does have a built-in rangefinder, but I doubt anyone is paying attention to that.

So they killed blood hound and made bangalore unplayable the whole point of smoke is CONCEALMENT which means it CONCEALS you if some dude hops in the smoke he can see you. Bloodhounds whole ability was to see in smoke that’s the reason people played the character.

The Havoc was balanced outside of the magazine size, so that was a fair nerf. Every other assault rifle or submachine gun gets 20 rounds or less at base while dealing less damage so the Havoc starting at 24 was already strong. I think the main thing is that everything else around it got nerfed while it was left alone, so it was the only decent-to-good feeling weapon left on the ground.

when update like this called "HUGE" that really means game is dying

the biggest change is somewhat hidden, but at the bug fix part, they say "players will no longer be able to shoot ennemies whilesafe behind cover" this is probably regarding headglitches, which if it is, will definitely change the game by a lot

Close range smoke is not viable thanks to this You can only make it actually work as a way to cut line of sight by shooting it in a way that you're not in it Which basically means that now is only a tool to help you run away

Problem is that the pros influence the meta a lot, and if they can still use Bloodhound even after the nerfs, then it's still meta. I am no pro by any means. I don't play the game consistently so I really am not the one to ask about balance lol. I just commented that because he was already not a fun legend to play.

You can still see people just not through gas and smoke. Which is a completely fine change as he was meta for 80% of the time in apex history. Also you can still see them with scans, choosing his new perk that gives 50% less tac charge time during the ult will still keep the bang blood combo alive.

If I'm interpreting this right, no. The "anti aim assist" mechanic probably is left untouched. " _This highlight is not visible from outside the smoke: all of the rotational and sight-blocking gameplay are kept in-tact._ " Assuming that 'rotational' is referring to rotational aim assist, this should mean that aim assist will still be cancelled in smoke. But if they meant rotational as in rotating through the map or whatever, then idk

I think it won't give aim assist. This feels like a way to make it so that the visibility in bang smokes is consistent for everyone instead of one or two players getting lucky with the lighting.

10:40 Honestly I feel like they should improve the highlight contrast of players highlighted by Crypto's drone in smoke as well. I feel like althought it's supposed to be similar to Bloodhound's ult exceptit's just a border highlight, the way it's highlighted makes it practially no different from playing normally in smoke (just plain messy). As a Crypto player I feel like although there's no need to change the way the player is highlighted when in view of drone in smoke, I think a better contrast colour or a option to change contrast colour (just like colour-blind mode) would be greatly appreciated. It's not game-changing, but it would be a nice QoL against Bangalore teams

The Conduit skin reminds me more to the loba prestige skin or the ninja wraith skin then revenant.

It's funny the patch notes looks a bit like Xdefiant's patch notes, like... friendlier ? I don't know if they picked up the idea or not either way i think it's cool !

It doesnt seem like they gave Bangalore or Bloodhounds any compensation for the nerfs. I see the perks, but we also want to make sure the legends base kit is also fun on drop and in playlists. Bloodhound lost his sight, his ult charge with the ravens, and the ability to extend his ult. Bang got upped recharge for her ult and tac. I hope they find a happy medium because im okay with nerfs to meta strategies, just leave the characters fun for those who stay

That 4 ammo reduction on the Havoc is gonna prove pretty significant.

Respawn has lost the plot. Hope you guys enjoyed the first 20 seasons. The game is on its way out with these changes.

They kept constantly mini buffing the havoc, reducing the recoil spread about 2 times in the last 5 seasons. A change was definitely needed and I’m glad it’s just the mag for now to see how it feels. 36 ammo was too much to begin with

Making this rotation of maps and the new map next season is supposed to be a close range city map? Respawn prepping the community for the new map lol

Get rid of the 4-10x scope if there is no digi, no one uses that thing and it barely spawns

Killed Blood and Bang, sigma stepping removed, tryna buff even more snipers even though sentinal is in every loadout anyway, gold sniper scope is no longer worth being gold, another overpriced collection event, and regular ranked is gone. Time to find a new game this season

i mean, whats the point of digi threat if it cant detect heat from smoke, also with blood hound ult, i mean thats the only thing to make these things works. its ridiculous

Still gonna be bang and blood sadly. Bang smoke still acts like a cat wall for rotations and her ult is the most useful thing in the game. Bloodhound is still able to scan through smoke with his tactical and with the new 50% cooldown reduction perk it’s gonna be the same thing
