I used to have an 6 lane 18’ x 8’ AFX track actually gave it to a friend ( I moved and couldn’t take it ) he extended it to 28’ . 18” ,15” ,12” turns only on flat parts of track used 3 sets of 9” and 12” banks staggered a bit . 1 bridge . Very fast . Stock AFX classes with foam silicone tires running on 2 twelve volt car batteries and a twenty four volt charger using 45ohm Parma controllers . Had many other layouts near me on Long Island NY , A few were 8 lane 24’ + Also a 35’ 4 lane .

We need more HO content like this wow cool vid Trav. I always find HO content doesn't get as many views. Great fun, you should try non mag HO racing, brass weight replaces the magnet.

If you want to accurately measure a track, do this. Take a roll of construction string, lay it down into the slot(pick one), and proceed all the way around. When you have a full laps worth, mark it, pull it out, measure it with a tape measure. Questions?

what about to my earlier comment Travis? All I said was that isn't a huge track, which is accurate. It is cool, and they clearly could go even bigger. Bigger can also be looked at 2 ways, footprint to me is what defines it better. You can fit 25m is very little space, but a 100 footer taking up a whole village hall is really something.

I do not see any sign of a "Huge AFX Slot Car" as in the title description. All the slot cars look to be the usual AFX size of 1/64 th scale plus or minus a fair bit. The AFX slot car TRACK on the other hand does look larger than most. Ha ha.
