Love the few spots lately where you’ve thought twice on the river and found a creative (but when you think it through rationally, it makes perfect sense) river value bet. These are spots where I and most players will chicken out with the check back.

Yeah the thing is that most players at these games just don't raise the river with bluffs so you can get a lot of extra value there

His "lines" are interesting cause it's all made up= both he and Rampage put on fake content you never see them actually taking cash from the cashier (when they cash out) and their stories (hand histories) don't make any sense to any real poker player. Also you look at their "sessions" they always have pocket aces and pocket queens sometimes more than once- but for some reason they forget to ever have pocket kings... it's really comical how gullible they think you all are... I bet they play online for "play money" and post their hand histories as real cash game hands- that's the only way any of these hands would ever make sense.. Oh and how many times does Mariano posts quads.... seriously dude get a life

@@boazbell38 It's true. I've played with Mariano and he often goes 2 hours with playing a hand, then he'll put the camera in front of someone else's stack to make it look as if he played their hand. I also saw Mariano buy $2,000 worth of chips from the cashier, walk around the poker room with the racks in his hand and then cash them out again to make it look like he just won. It's all fake.

I actually think I prefer a check on that second Q. Can give him some bluffing opportunities on the river and if he has a flush draw and gets there you're getting paid. Hard to really see what he continues with on the turn even with a bet that small tbh.

if he had a flush draw he wouldnt fold it ppl are not that good , but some gutters tird and second pairs might thats why i prefer check back with a lock on board

Rio Poker room is currently out of business anyway and is probably never coming back. This is your last opportunity to play Poker at the Rio. They are rumored to be relocating to Ballys. In addition to that it is rumored that Ballys is going to be remodeled and rebranded as “Horseshoe”, like the other Caesers “Horseshoe” properties in Indiana.

This was another awesome session, and you ran blazing hot once again. Some of those hands ran almost too well for you like the one in which you flopped the nut diamond flush with bricks for the turn and the river. That’s always fun to see. I would've checked on that last hand when you hit quads on the turn. Seems like he was drawing to a flush and if he had gotten there on the river you could've gotten his whole stack.

Hey Mariano, great drone b-roll as always. And I love the understated humor in the VO. Re: suited connectors in the BB when SB open-limps (or equivalent configuration)... there was just a Twitter thread about that from Ryan LaPlante. He's talking about tournaments, but he says you're supposed to raise the crap hands because they play so poorly postflop, but check suited connectors (and other adjacent I guess) because you don't want to get limp/reraised off those. I dunno if it applies to cash or not but it made sense to me anyway. Congrats on the big win and great content.

Think you played perfect in this one pretty much. Especially liked that thought process with the 10-6. Can valuebet the K5 pretty safely imo and fold to a reraise. The only hand he can have that makes SOME sense is quads. The rest you're beating.

You've got to check quads on the turn. The board pair downgrades the draws so they've got to catch up, you have all the queens.
