The leaders back then weren’t sports stars, movie stars or rap stars. They had knowledge.

Johnson Pat Huey P Newton a warrior sent from God for real. And what did we black people do with these God sent warriors, we undermine their stance, we compromise their agenda, sabotage their efforts of War on the behalf of black people. And if all this fails we black people kill these warriors like we did Malcolm X and Huey.

Lucindia Galloway All black people in america get help or loans from white people. and other non white ethnicities do to. if you dont know by now all of america is owned by white jews there are very VERY! few things owned by black people. and many black people dont help each other alot of the time, thats reality. and just because someone gets loans or help from white people dont mean they are not pro black. i bet you work for someone white. and even if you have your own business you still have to pay taxes to white man uncle sam. the point is he tried to help his PEOPLE! and community. he stood up to the white man and was willing to DIE! for his community. and thats more than what MOST! black people doing today. and for that i respect him. and NO he was not perfect no one is but GOD! dont compare no man to GOD! and you said what he done so special for black people. well there is free breakfast at school because of his free breakfast program as well as charter schools, clinics, even wic. all things black people have now.

The new panthers are a joke period. There's no programs helping poverse children and adults. These new BPP are more about style and look at me type as most of this generation is social media junkies. As well as there is no real assaults on any law enforcement or government, so they won't get the message and will just laugh at all the marching/flag burnings and rhetoric blabbing.

When he was young, he was like the son of Malcolm X with Che Guevara spirit. But yoy can see in his eyes that the war the CIA, the cops, the Goverment and the media destroyed his soul. He as like an inmate from te 101 room. Yes drugs, destroyed him, but ... Who can stands the kind of brutality that he and the Black Panthers took? No wander why heroin, coke and crack "appeared" suddently in the poor neighbourhoods. By the way, I don´t believe the version that he wanted to be druglord of Oakland and stealed food money from schools. Maybe he was lost in his demons and coke, but it´s impossible for me to believe the USA Goverment. Greetings from a country that was revolutionary, and then exterminated by fascism: Spain.

very well said...They broke him in the end and they discredited and tarnished his name and character to discourage people from taking heed to his efforts. What happened to Huey, mirrors the directives of the cointelpro. At the end of the day, white supremacy has gotten so high up and powerful that we have to Keep faith with YHWH Most High and wait for Him to finish them off...at the time of this post...white supremacy is suffering crushing and devastating losses that no army could ever do.
