Have been through this drill at least 5 times as an Offshore Industry Professional. Difference, we have to break out the windows /potholes.

This is training not real situation. In real situation you may not survived no matter how good are you in swiimming and diving skills

I can’t think of one single time on earth this training has ever paid off!!!!😂☝️! Most crashes I’ve seen always hit water at high rate of speed! I guess if your ever doing a hover over your swimming pool this my help if you gently land it in the pool!😂

The target is holding breath for 15 sec. So, practice holding it for 30 sec. This worked out nicely every time.

WilyWade Wonkson you dont have to worry..the instructor will separate the one that can swim and the one who cant with wearing a different color of helmet..once u out from the window, they will help that cant swim

Because i already have may seamans book or SIRB.. ive done through basic training which i had to go through survival/firstaid/firefighting/etc. But ive done it all with life jacket hahaha i myself admit that i dont know how to swim or float and have panic under water or deep water but as i am determined to have a job i keep myself calm with lifejacket im not worried if i have floating device with me and thats eager me to survive.. i am actually applying for Ensco oil rig to my uncle who is a manager there i dont know but he told me to have my seamansbook first and i heard i have a 1month training either singapore or malaysia i really dont have any idea what will happen or what will be my training looks like etc. But since the pay is good i still have i doubt to continue because im a littke bit skeptical if all the trainings have life jackets etc. If i dont have life jacket maybe im not qualified for the job but since if there is a life jacket i am eager to train and go tru all this stuff.. do you have any idea? This helicopter tube is lowered into the water slowly but i wonder if in a real emergency the helicopter may ditch very fast.

@@andradeisraell pode até ter, mas o aluno tem que sair só. Pelo menos onde eu fiz eram 2 mergulhadores mas eles só entram pra ajudar caso o aluno não consiga se soltar. Fora isso... É o aluno e a prova. Coisa que eu acho justo, até pq se é pra viver uma coisa que se pode acontecer a qualquer momento... Que vivamos a realidade ;)

This wasn't done properly. You are supposed to 1- Push the window out, 2 - Hold on to the window edge, 3 - unbuckle belt. These guys skipped step 2, potentially fatal in real life

@@KamalAizat86 Then also we need to hold the window that is the way out because the rushing water will push you away from the window and you will get disoriented. You will get entanglement with your co passenger. I am HUET instructor with 15 + years experience

@@andradeisraell pode até ter, mas o aluno tem que sair só. Pelo menos onde eu fiz eram 2 mergulhadores mas eles só entram pra ajudar caso o aluno não consiga se soltar. Fora isso... É o aluno e a prova. Coisa que eu acho justo, até pq se é pra viver uma coisa que se pode acontecer a qualquer momento... Que vivamos a realidade ;)

Need to hold breath..also have rebreather to give additional boost

This wasn't done properly. You are supposed to 1- Push the window out, 2 - Hold on to the window edge, 3 - unbuckle belt. These guys skipped step 2, potentially fatal in real life

@@KamalAizat86 huh? Just pointing out that this was done incorrectly. If you don’t hold the window edge before doing the seat belt, you risk floating away and not getting out that window

@@KamalAizat86 Then also we need to hold the window that is the way out because the rushing water will push you away from the window and you will get disoriented. You will get entanglement with your co passenger. I am HUET instructor with 15 + years experience
