I think Huepar got its moneys worth with your review Morgan. One of the better reviews out there. Complete, to the point and covered all the main features, and both positives and negatives. I only wish I had bought this model over the S04CG-L. I didn't get the LED screen, Bluetooth, remote or fancy bracket but I reckon as a DIYer I can live without those bells & whistles. Thanks mate.

Appreciate it. Off all the fancy stuff you listed the Bracket is probably the only thing of that bunch I will use regularly. The other ones are just nice. For me anyways, may be more useful to others. Thanks again 👍

I wish Huepar had a comparison feature in their website. They have a few 4d versions. Side note, being you can power it directly, if the batteries failed, a person should be able to power it with a power bank if an outlet wasn't close by.

I hadn’t checked out their website. That is good point with the battery bank 👍

Looks to be a very versatile unit, battery looks to be camera/camcorder tyle so likely supported for a while yet but the AA battery adapter is a sweet option to include along with powering it direct from USB, means you can use a power-bank if there is no electricity.

It is a pretty good one all around for the price in my opinion. Seems like a lot of these units are using that same style battery. Power bank is a good idea 👍

I wish Bosch finally made a 4-plane laser with proper remote, Bluetooth and work-on-charge function. Probably they'd charge $2000, but I'd buy it.

Yeah it’s weird that the others are beating them with options. I’m really surprised they haven’t done a 4-plane yet. I’ve only ran Bosch 100% for lasers of any kind until I started getting some to try on the channel. They have always been a company I’ve trusted.

@@MORGANSMaintenance I prefer buy once, cry once. Bosch is for pro users in pro environment (pro dust, pro abuse and pro neglect). I don't doubt that all those Amazon brands make reliable and durable lasers, but when something is 4x cheaper, it just cannot last as long as well made, more expensive product.

Chances are that's why they haven't done it 2k really puts them into the professional builders territory. Then you have to discount them to sell and it's not nearly as profitable as a regular Joe product. Look at battery pro press still way out of reach!

@@MattHmm-rq6dn I'm using Klauke MAP2L pressing tool compatible with Makita LXT 18 V batteries. It was expensive, but it has paid itself with 2 jobs. And I have it almost 10 years. Once every 2 years I send it for the service costing 200 Euro and it works like a charm. I don't mind paying a lot for the tool that will last.

I'm glad it's working out for you 👍 I tend to work in a more disposable world for the use I have for them floors pannels trim. I initially thought these would be disposable but it turns out they have all latest (happy side effect?). I did work for a company pouring 100s of yards of concrete a month and grading we had a silly expensive pulse level for such a thing. I'm very glad I don't need such tungs anymore. There is a notion that if all these no name companies can do it why can't thr big boys? Does seem silly to not try!

You could be like most of us a modify a 3rd hand support pole. Hard to spend 100 on a pole that has little use most of the time.

I have at least 5 or 6 lasers two of them are 4 plane. I have many of these brands doaha huepar firecore and kawattis and my favorite is firecore. This sure looks nice an the price reflects it though do see value in it. There are many 4 plane lasers under 150 dollar range with perfectly good features and accessories. A while back I got a $20 4 plane laser you herd me right generic brand came with most of thoes accessories and is serviceable. I defently recommend looking at thoes az brands and keeping a eye out for ones that seem to not be fire hazards and reasonably reliable. I have never had an issue with inaccurate or breaking any of my levels yet 4 or more years later with people who don't baby them. I will continue to buy cheap brands and replace as needed instead of the extreme prices of name brands.

Amazon does it quite often with a lot of stuff. I generally load up a wishlist with tools and watch them for a while. Occasionally you save quite a bit of money

I have their older 4 line. I think they have the best tripod out there. I also have their receiver. I have an older 2 or 3 line as well. Since I bought the 4 line I never used the other one again. Huepar has the laser game down.

That was a really nice review; made me think hard on how I might use such a tool. I don't think my rare use-case justifies the price though. It surely shows my construction ignorance to not know a better way to mark drywall for outlet box holes...

You can get one much cheaper 3 planes cam be had for less than 50 depending on the brand and sale. 4 plane start in the 100iah range many good ones at the 160 mark.

It is an investment tool, there are other cheaper options as well for people who don’t use one as often. You will find once you get one, you will use it for all sorts of things you didn’t think of though.

Agreed gotta get over that want it or need it barrier. Alot of times that price even 30 to 50 dollars may be the motivation they need to get it. I encourage people to buy once cry once when they can but a cheaper model is better than nothing. But for us that journey from cheap to expensive ends up costing us more in the end at least we had fun.

It was Dovoh. They are both good… but I like the main accessory adjustment and the fact that you have a regular battery option of this one. This one doesn’t have a ceiling grid attachment, but I already had one of those… but that depends on if you install ceilings.
