At first glance huel sounds crazy, why have a meal consisting of a powder and water? In this video I hope to talk you through some of it's merits (and shortcomings!).

I tried it just over a year ago. Usually breakfast and work lunch and normal solid veggie dinner. One of the best diatery decisions I've ever made.

I bought the black edition using subscription and discount code so it's quite affordable. Was much cheaper than buying lunch for work. It's adequately filling and if you're happy with most gym shakes, this won't phase you. I cancelled the subscription, then made a new account and did the same but with the V3 powder. Haven't compared to the black edition yet. I chose to switch as I don't need the extra protein and the higher flax seed content meant it supposedly contributes to higher oestrogen levels a bit like soya protein does. (Haven't found a lot of data to say either way if that's true.)

Hiya Nish, I came across your channel on the SmallYTChannel Reddit and thought I'd check your video's out. After watching this video and the new intro you posted on the reddit thread, I was pleasantly surprised to see how interesting your video's are to watch, and how you're presenting your honest findings. I like the way your video's are structured, and how well you're talking to the camera without stuttering or mumbling most of the time. It's great to see you use additional clips in the video to show your point, and I like how the audio is nice and clean, with the exception of someone closing a door behind you, but there's not much you can do about that. If you don't mind, I'd like to provide some constructive feedback if that's ok? I like how you've framed yourself and how you're centre of the video with a good amount of head room, although the white wall behind you does seem a bit bland with nothing on it, maybe consider adding a splash of colour if you can find a way? No worries if you can't. Additionally, maybe consider adding some music in the background to help lift the mood, as I feel it can help the audience feel more engaged throughout the video, just a thought. I look forward to watching more of your videos, and I hope you enjoy making these as much as we enjoy watch them 👍.

Hey thanks for the really well thought out feedback. Regarding my background, I've recently moved and got a new setup going on (my latest video upload features it) would be great to get your thoughts. Music is something I've toyed with but I have mixed feelings about it. For myself when watching videos I sometimes find background music either too quiet to be heard, or too loud that it is distracting - but perhaps for longer videos it would be nice and you might have a point about further engagement (opens a can of worms of making sure it is copyright free etc though! Cheers :)

Best to have a little metal shaker ball in the bottle to break up those lumps. Ice works too.

So you mix it with water, but can you mix it with something else like milk? I feel like chocolate or banana would be interesting to make a milkshake out of

Yeah I completely forgot this point. Mixing with milk is def an option but in my experience it gets very sweet/creamy when you do this (good for a dessert, bad for a meal imo).

Here's what the world wants. A protein shake that tastes like actual bacon or apple pie. 200 calories per serving, no sugar, chemicals, or chalk taste 🤦‍♂️🤣. Maybe I can get a sample pack to try it out. I get coffee protein shakes at Costco that I like. Pop in the freezer for a bit, then shake when it's partially frozen to make it like a frappuccino.

A quick google search reveals 'the FDA has set a limit of 1 part per million of mercury in fish'. From what I can see there isn't really a cause for concern on Heavy metals :)
