    He sees that there is no point in holding someone hostage. this is a creative industry and if you don't feel good nothing good will come out of it. This is why I will never understand why companies hold on to artists that don't want to work with them anymore. This is doing both of them more bad than good.

    I wish young people in Korea could realise that being an idol isn't the only way to work in the music industry. Being an AOMG/H1GHR artist seems so fulfilling with creative freedom and mentorship from the older artists. It's not the biggest or the most profitable, but we can see that they enjoy everything. Apart from that, as Gray said, they can also consider working behind the scenes like being a producer.

  • @onnesha

    @onnesha

    3 жыл бұрын

    I think it's more complicated than that, majority of people prefer what you're talking about; having more freedom and being independent artists but a lot of people dream about being an idol and there's nothing wrong with that. There's room for both.

  • @villainoir

    @villainoir

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@onnesha Looking at how many ex-idols/ex-trainees regret pursuing that path, I stand with my point. Not all of them are successful and sometimes music can be something traumatic for them because of the bad experience. The way they can't enjoy the thing that they used to love is what's concerning for me. So, it's good to broaden the perspective before making a decision. I wish K-R&B and K-HipHop could gain more popularity too because it's very promising.

  • @onnesha

    @onnesha

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@villainoir yes I love both kpop and khiphop/rnb and I agree to what you're saying but it's not all black and white. Even though there's a lot of negative stories but there's a lot of artists who are proud of their idol background. Also the fact that the kpop industry is changing more day by day abd urging more freedom and independence to the artists. As I've said there's room for both and I adore both of the music.

    @@kimnana7272 ohh i agree with this alot but i can't say that majority of the rappers are transparent, just as there are good ones, there's also quite a few of bad ones. imo, newer groups feel like robots and are so rigid in variety shows im just like okay...but i dont think we can entirely blame them for being like that because one wrong action/word and they'll get cancelled and ripped apart by their so-called fans + knetz. Except for a few like ateez and other rookie groups there's not really much substance to the rookies these days as you said, the 2nd gen idols are definitely more "free" so most of their words dont feel scripted at all

  • @ashablue78

    @ashablue78

    This is a much harder path to get success than idols. Idols have a little bit more stability with a company backing them. Young people in Korea know all of this and it’s a little patronizing of you to think that people don’t take everything into account when they pursue their dreams. Also nothing wrong with being an idol. So many have made great music and have fulfilling lives, stop projecting the unfortunate stories of a few onto the very many others

    I love GRAY’s mindset. He doesn’t feel bad that he debuted later than most, he just considers himself a late bloomer, and I think that is beautiful. This can be applied to so many things!! Like most of my friends from HS have already graduated from college, and I’m still studying my major b/c I took time out for myself, but I’m still pushing thru and I’ll get my degree too. I’m just a late bloomer 😤😤😤 thank you GRAY for saying that 😭😭😭

I love the way she talks to people because she listens and lets people talk and feel comfortable in her space. She makes people feel like they can open up to her and lets us see the real side of people. Maybe inviting people like Jessi or JUNNY. I also hope that we get an episode with pH-1.

But now, at 30, I'm finding happiness in little things I would have never expected. Summary of this interview: Even if Gray's not perfect, he's pretty much almost there. He has a (very good paying) job, kind to elders, no messy dating life, cares for others, can clean, and let's be honest, those visuals 😍

    I found Gray because of Yugyeom’s new album. He’s a really funny guy. Hoody seems very sweet too and even tries to accommodate her guest’s diets. I will definitely be watching more of her cooking shows.

    I love the concept of this show. Hoody cooks for her guests depending on their preferences and all. We get to know these guys deeper. AOMG really supports whatever their artists or rather family members want to do, just like what Jay Park has always been saying about all their artists.

    the way I could listen to him talking all day about his passion for music, I felt very relaxed watching this because she was listening to him very carefully, and I really appreciate his honesty about everything, and I laughed about him cleaning his friend house and him being like a mom cause in stm his team literally said the same thing about him, he gives ^mom^ vibes all the time, I hope nothing but the best for him and I wish him all the glory and success in his career now and the next 20 years, he's 너무 귀여워 fr

I don’t know if it is possible and I don’t know what he is up to now for the most part but I would love to see Primary on something like this as I have always loved his songs and he has a soothing voice and a quite personality.
