Beautiful film! It got me thinking that it’s time that Pakistani parents should change their mentality whether they are rich or poor: every individual should work after completing their education whether it’s up to standard grade, higher education or professional education. It’s not fair on parents especially fathers to continue working to facilitate their children when they are capable of earning themselves. This girl kept mourning of not having a good quality life but what was her contribution? Zero…!! Then she has no right to complain.

Absolutely! We talk about empowerment but I know many friends who demand luxuries from their parents or spouses and they go to any lengths to fulfill those. This is a very de-powering narrative and should stop! Empathize and stop comparing! Thought provoking and meaningful 19 min short film! More power to seeprime!

@@hiraaquib9582 so true!! Having a dream or wanting to live a life without worries is everybody’s priority but not working towards it themselves is also common reality. Poor/middle class girls wanting to marry in rich families so they can have everything for free is a main story subject of our dramas. I guess it’s the reality as well. They have nothing else to show! Why not work hard to earn and achieve what they always wanted in life? Why burden your parents? Why not sit with them and come up with a business plan? Why not have a job and help them financially so they don’t go through so much stress and depression! If one has the privilege to read and write they have no excuse! The history is full of such examples where nobody became somebody through hard/smart work. This world is full of opportunities one just have to look outside their comfort zone.

You are right I live in Canada and Alhamdulillah most of peoples have good living standards in my circle but even all high schools students have summer jobs or part time jobs to have their some sorts of expenses and government give loans to universities students which they pay back to government after completing education everybody should take part in Pakistan too kids have lots of time to spend on phones but don’t participate in house chores and in finances

@@samsamar2000 very similar system here in UK as well. Parents genuinely feel excited for their children to venture out of their comfort zone soon they turn 18. I really hope and pray system in Pakistan changes for good! Pakistan is full of talented people and infinite opportunities but cultural and societal pressure is holding this country back from its full potential.
