Hubsan X4 Led Mod version (11 leds)
The Hubsan X4 H107L plus 5 leds. It mounts two bright white leds in the front (helpful for closed night shooting with cam, my X4 mounts the 808 Key Chain Micro Camera), two navigation leds in the middle bottom side (red on the left, green on the right), helpful to understand how it is turned when it fly far away. The last is placed in the tail under the canopy, and it's a pulsating multiple color led.
The two white, with red and green leds both with a 230 Ohm resistor, are an easy removible external set up and are directly connected to the battery, instead the multiple color led is connected to the quad's two frontal leds circuit, and it mounts something about an 800 ohm resistor.

I've got one of these coming in the mail. I've got a micro led strand that I'm thinking about trying to mount to the indoor protective ring. They're designed for 4.5 v but I tested them on a 3 v supply and they work. I just don't know if it will be too heavy for this quad. I'm going to run them off of the quads battery. The close encounters backing track was perfect for this video.😄

No problem for the weight, in this video the quad in additions mounts five leds, three resistor and wires ;)
Very nice modification maybe you can post a video showing close up how you set up all the lights. I think that would be very helpful than just explaining what types of lights and where they are placed on the quad copter
