I really like my Juggernaut Hub Duo Step-Thru, even though I'm still trying to get used to the 3 inch wide tires. My non-e-bike has 700C x 40c tires which I had rode for 12 years before rewarding myself with a Biktrix. I am no longer whining about headwinds, hills or weight when I grocery shop. Rain is still a concern. The e-bike got me home quickly when caught in a downpour using the throttle only. I debated on hub or mid for weeks before deciding that my first e-bike should be a hub motor while living in Florida, which is basically flat. I sold my car 12 years ago and never bought another one. I do all my transportation by bicycle. Longer trips were done loading my bicycle on buses and trains. Now with my Biktrix e-bike I skip the buses and trains. The staff at Biktix has always been helpful to me too. Thank you.

Lol, just found this video and was so surprised to my see comment mentioned! I now own three Biktrix ebikes, my wife and I started with the Juggernaut Hub Duo, and a year later I purchased the Juggernaut FS Pro 3. These bikes are awesome, I've done two 100-mile rides on my FS Pro 3 and have over 2000 miles on it in the past year.

I tried hub drive non Biketrix and found it struggled up hills. Bought a Juggernaut Classic mid drive and it flies up long and steep hills. Great bike, no problems. It suits me but may not be for everyone. Only thing I don’t like is rock hard seat. Replaced that.

Very interesting bikes that you have. I have always preferred a mid drive. But what I really like is the idea of using the 27.5 tires. Cuts down on some white and keeps it much more nimble. Would love to see one in person.

I own a Biktrix Stunner Mid Drive IGH. Requires very little maintenance. I lowered😂 the max AMP to 15. This still goes fast enough, but helps saves the IGH. Never had a chain break. Have had this about 5 years.

Whatever happened to that new rear hub your company was engineering that kept the chain constantly moving so you wouldn't get the "clicking" when you stopped pedaling? You had a cool KZread video about it on your site that magically disappeared and I can't find any reference or information about this new rear hub anymore. Did it just not work so you pulled it from development? It sounded like a really cool idea and I would love to have it on my Juggernaut Duo bike.

So, between using the Throttle and/or PAS I'll get better range with the Hub Motor just by pedaling and using the PAS, and the gears.

If you use gears properly, mid drives will get you better range

What about with a Hub Drive Motor, I have an electric bike that runs on a hub drive motor, and how can I get more range and MPH if I'm going to use the PAS, and can hub motors handle a 9 gear shifter?

@@calvintanner7897 The range while riding your hub motor ebike will increase when you push harder on the pedals as your ride. This is because you are providing the power to turn the wheels and the motor doesn't need to provide as much electrical power. Thus, you'll save battery life and increase your net riding range. If you apply the same amount of human force to the pedals, then your range will be the same regardless of whether you use the throttle or pedal assist.

OK, why is it necessary to choose either/or, when it comes to cadence or torque sensor? If there are different needs for different riders, why not sell models that have a switch that allows the rider to choose which one they want to use that day? (similar to bikes with fwd, rwd, awd switches) Personally, I'm near 70 years old, and my legs are not as strong as they once were. However, I bought a torque sensor bike, because I compromised to get a bike with higher standard equipment, for the same price. I'm not able to use all of this ebike's power, like going up hills. But in other situations, the torque sensor is alright for me. I'd definitely prefer having both sensors, with a switch to make my choice. (lol, in spite of my age, I do like to ride faster sometimes!) Btw, do you have bike shop dealers for your brand? Hackers have made my use of credit cards impossible. I need face-to-face transactions, not online. You seem to offer some interesting top speed ebikes, as shown on you tube reviewer channels.

We’re sure that will be an option for the future.. currently some of our bikes allow for adjusting cadence vs torque sensitivity via a computer. It’s just not available as a switch on the bike

@@Biktrix interesting news, thanks. Although I don't use smart phones, I have flip only ... so adjustment via computer isn't possible. You answered so fast, I was still typing. I wanted to know also if you have a bike shop dealer network.

@@rayrussell6258 "bike shop dealer network" is going to drive the price of the bikes up...that said, maybe we need to embrace the LBS mentality more and get money back into our communities and less so in the hands of the MEGA Corps.
