@@usmc-veteran73-77 1st MAW is on Okinawa and mainland Japan. Its kind of weird how you have 1st MAW with 3rd MARDIV in 3 MEF and 3rd MAW with 1st MARDIV in 1 MEF.

Interesting, the clip didn't mention 3rd MAWs ultimate reason for being: to support infantry operations. 🤔

So why is the Marine Corps reducing its attack rotary wing aircraft by basically 1/3 and cutting a number of F35s? Can't imagine it's ever a good call to reduce the number of attack aircraft at your disposal.

I guess that’s the answer, cut attack aviation to pursue systems in developmental infancy and that marines aren’t trained to employed. Also can you give me an example of a current congressman who has expressed a desire to change Title X with a view to disband the USMC?
