Can you compered to garmin? Fenix or Epix? From sport perspective.

I have the Grand Expedition model. Bought it with a broken glass... don't ask - the idiot used a diamond filer. Replacement sent me back 230$. Delivered within a week from China via UPS. Assembled and sealed it together - tough job it took me best part of an afternoon. I am now convinced thoroughly this is the best smart watch device of all time. Dove with it, and am particularly impressed with its diving app and alghoritm.

Fantastic!! Awesome review of this device! I've purchased the "Extraordinary Master" from China and awaiting its arrival. I bought this watch based on specs, materials and looks. I'm a diver and your video's portion covering the menu clears up the Dive Computer questions I've been asking myself. Very similar to my Garmin Descent Mk1. The fact it looks like a Omega Seamaster Liquid Metal really brings out the Bond vibe. Thank you for the only real review of this watch currently on KZread.

Firstly, thank you for the detailed presentation. Since I have never had any wearable or cellphone but only samsung, I m curious if the watch is compatible enough (due to absence of the Google services) with some very important services like, could it receive email notifications, or viber notifications? I m a bit disappointed because of samsung watch 4 battery. Or could it change a song if I listen music via Deezer while I m jogging? Can I install in it some third party apps, like deezer and the most important is there any chance to install Google services like Gmail or KZread premium? Thank you very much in advance.

Is the watch able to provide mgrs ?

can the watch display the map while navigating?...saw it on the watch 4 pro...or maybe it was fake

I dive with the Garmin MK2 i (Air integratet)! My Tankpot sends me with Sonar the Tankpressure! But the Ultimate is beautyfull can you light the Display by Touching the Glas! Idont like Displaylight by every arm turn!

i love that it comes with a long strap.

Diving mode looks better than the subscription based Apple one - Does it support dive planning in the Technical Diving section? Nice clear display - Personally, I like the look better than the Apple Watch, too.

I don't know where you'd seen that, but in the video I've just watched there isn't any kind of protection on the blade.

I suppose that it uses the Buhlmann zhl-16c algorithm. I would like to see if it displays a tissue graph during and/or after the dive and also how the Huawei app keeps the diver's logbook

Why there's no vo2max showing on your health app?

I really want someone to make video about the GPS accuracy because that was my main concern to return the Huawei gt 3 watch back in the store.gps accuracy was awful! I'm always using my Suunto ambit 3 peak for GPS because it's accuracy is outstanding even better than any exciting Garmin up to 2023... How come they can produce such watches and still don't reach great gps accuracy. Even the new Suunto watches are bad at gps... Only the ambit 3 peak shows very very accurate results out of all watches I've used, and I've used a lot of them, but never got satisfied by the GPS as much as with my ambit

Coming from samsung. Love the battery life and build quality. Absolutely hate how little you can customise watch faces. Like is it really that hard to allow to assign all functions to each widget? Why do i need to choose different functions depending on wach face and widget? And why theres no way to customise the colour of a watch face? Found a watch face i love. Turns out during night i have to live with neon flouriscent dial numbers! Re. Scratching. Its not SO hard to scratch. Used a nail sicisors to help with lengthening a strap. Hand slipped. Now on the first day of wear i have (Admittedly small but still) a scratch on the inside.

I tested the SCUBA mode and works perfectly i went to 15m dept for 20 min . No problems.

not cheap, but compared to the apple watch ultra its a bargain. if apple would have those materials it would be 2000 USD

Even though some watches have this plug to the air tank and sync with the watch. Only a few, but still, I can't wait to see how this watch works for me.

@TechMagnet Regarding expedition mode. If you push the button "mark" it has to connect to GPS each time (you can see it on the display that it is trying to connect). So I have the feeling that to save battery life when you are in expedition mode the GPS is off all the time and only when you make a Mark it connects to GPS a for short moment to set the marker. Is this correct ?

I got the black one, and I was so happy but unfortunately it had an issue with the volume, it’s not as high as other huawei watches even if the volume at max level the sound is low ( when using Bluetooth earphone ), but when switching the sound or music to the watch speakers and retuning it back to Bluetooth earphones the sound suddenly increase by it self, the service center told me it’s from the factory and all ultimate watches are the same. I have gt3 pro and fit 2 and they are amazing when it comes to the sound. By the way until now my watch is in the service center, I did not enjoy the watch at all. I used huawei freebuds and the service center tried another types of huawei Bluetooth earphones and all are the same, and they admitted that was abnormal.

Maybe it is turned on automatic sound volumen on your watch or phone,turn it off in developing or sound menu.

Mine has broken down during a scuba diving in 27 mt. Risky for scuba diving.

its a great looking watch , i had gt2 pro for about 2 years and was a superb watch with stellar battery and there software for my samsung was spot on ... i have samsung watch 5 pro at moment , i thought i liked it but now im not sure , the 5 pro has the longest battery for a samsung and i get 2 to 3 days out of it so not that bad , i have the ceramic blue , think it looks better than a tag heuer , and probable lasts 10 times longer ... i dont think its that cheap though , but at the minute their is 10 percent off with voucher and could sell the free buds as got some others ...

Can you make calls with iPhone?

is it wearOS watch with LTE. this is very much handy features if watch price is crossing above 200$

It's not wearOS, it has it's own "harmonyOS", which is limiting the 3rd party watch face providers.

I have the Epix Gen 2 and Amazfit Falcon... But this is stunning.

No, but the watch 4 pro dose, and it's alot cheaper.

Amazing watch I'm glad it's Huawei only, no Google and stupid Google apps. Hope Huawei makes more of these and other tech products not influenced by the West.

I have the huawei watch ultimate voyage ( thats the silver one ) and all i can say this watch is worth its price even if it dont have some functions like in samsung or apple bramd watches. Look 10 durability 10 weight 10 functionality 9 If you want smart watch that stands out this is recommended.

This watch is perfect! My only problem is that calories only shows active calories and NOT total calories burned! This is big foul for me..

In my opion it's not the money worth it. The cheaper version the 4 pro looks way better with a flat screen without a ugly bezzle.

899€ ist eine Ansage, aber wenn man sich die Apple Watch Ultra so ansieht und das was sie kostet, geht das in Anbetracht der Materialien und des Designs für mich soweit in Ordnung. Besonders das ziemlich randlose Display hat mich angefixt. Lustig, dass ich gerade heute meine Huawei Watch 3 verkauft habe. Die UI ist mir soweit bekannt, aber da war ein Punkt wo ECG stand. EKG vorhanden? Kompliment auch für dein Englisch! Ich dachte "Das ist bestimmt ein Deutscher" bis ich dann beim Wetter die Gewissheit hatte. Verstehen tue ich so gut wie alles, aber so Sprechen kann ich leider nicht. Na mal sehen was wird, aus mir und der Ultimate. Werden wir ein Paar? Viele Grüsse und Danke für das Video!

EKG ist vorhanden ja. Arterien Versteifung auch, spo2 etc. Ich finde das Design enorm geil, Apple Watch ja ist nice aber für mich persönlich einfach nicht stilgerecht. Danke 🙏 bin Österreicher

Warning: There is no warranty if water gets in. My first dive in the Philippines was 15 meters, and my watch died. The watch was less than 6 months old. Huawei is not willing to repair my watch and is not providing me any other solution. Don't waste your money!

That’s why usa got rid of them usa only likes competition fare trade when it suits them.

Love the 100m WR, the outstanding materials and finish, and that impressively elaborate dive application. Nice with good battery life, too. Despite the very impressive in house development and all that this watch has onboard, certain apps will be missing. Your "of course you can set up the wallet and cards can be added in the Huawei health application" - yes of course, cards are in the Health application, that seems... no wait, I think you need to explain that a bit more. Nice walk through that needs to be expanded not to feel like too superficial coverage. Finally, there is still some hesitation in using a Huawei product due to the ban.

Dude really? I'm glad Huawei isn't using Google and not restricted by the West and it's propaganda. Huawei is a tech company always have been innovating making other companies afraid of their growth. Keep using Apple, you don't deserve anything better. Why do you want Google apps on your ultimate watch. Keep it professional and use the watch what's its meant for, active lifestyle.

It's always a shame when smartwatch designs adhere to the traditional circular shape, which originated from the constraints of analog watch hands, sacrificing both functionality and aesthetics.
