haha, that shirt it's like 5 years old :) Paid $7 for it

I use Huawei Band 4 Pro - for it's price, the sensors are surprisingly accurate and Huawei Health app is really nice, even compared to the new Suunto app (ok, that's a low bar comparison haha). So I suspect that Huawei GT2 watch is even better. The only downside is the lack of export functionality. Huawei keeps our data as a hostage. The second downside is no connectivity with HR chest straps. With those two options (export/chest strap) I wouldn't think twice about buying GT2. Ok, maybe some interval timer would be nice too. Without those things the watch is useless, as it doesn't offer much more than my smart band.

Just bought one yesterday, looking forward to breaking it in

Hi Alex 🙂 I had the Huawei G2 and found it very good, but wouldn’t work fully with iPhone so I sold it, amazing battery life. It was a bit big for small wrists, the new one looks better, nicer, sounds good! 👍🏻

Love the video. This is a complete watch in terms of materials and fashion with the basics as a fit watch. I have the apple watch 6 and I am in 2 minds to switch . Just for the following 1.Battery 2. Materials 3. looks. 4. Do I really want an iphone on my wrist . 5. I have not used all the functions on the apple watch. Difficult decision

The main reason why I don't use a apple watch is the battery life... I just can charge the watch daily or every 2nd day... I forget most of the time

Important info: Huawei also released their SDK so you can actually develop your own apps, just like with Tizen and WearOS. Might not be important for everyone but it is for me, since I have my home energy monitoring and security controls on my watch.

Haha, I bought it a week ago for the same reason (looks, battery and durability), what a coincidence! I love it! Btw, I bought it (Nebula Gray) from Germany and it only came with the leather strap. The reason you see youtubers unboxing it with two straps is they are sponsored by Huawei.

Hey, you can turn on the notifications and receive notifications from most apps. You can set the vibration as well You can answer calls from the watch as well and have a conversation on the watch

I have the Huawei watch 2 and it has the ability to respond to notifications! It an older watch and it uses Google wear but it works just fine! I like my watch but am looking for something with a much longer battery life. Any suggestions? BTW,I see from your map on your phone that you're in Cambridge. So am I!

Great review as always!! If you want to check if the leather is real burn it for 2 seconds with a lighter. If the leather turns black it is fake. If it stays the same it is real. Also if it is black it is not ruined just wipe it with your finger

I think it depends what you do with your watch. The huawei is more of a fitness tracker than a smartwatch, that tickwatch you mentioned is more of a smartwatch than a fitness tracker. Personally i prefer the huawei type of smartwatches

They are about the same features wise, just the way they look it's different and of course more premium materials on the gt2 pro

I have had my watch a few weeks and and love it. The only thing I cant figure out is the watch faces. It does not show up on my health app. Any suggestions?

If you are using an iphone with it they won't show up... but you can chage them from the watch itself. Hold your finger pressed on the watchface (when the screen is on) and you can select a different one

We have the watch face market for Android. If you using iPhone what you can do is borrow your friend Android phone install the Huawei app and synced and install as many watch face you like. You can uninstall the apps on your friend phone. The watch face will still be there.

Is there a watchface that show recovery rate? I also found that if I swim train for an hour, I dont get a recovery time. With cycling I do. Any advice?

You should know that the heartrate monitor is very sluggish. With fast movements of your arms (boxing) it doesn't give good results. The GT2e is better.

Would I be able to enter Golf Scores and use GPS on the watch to track shot distances?

Only one set of straps in the box... at least for mine. Yes, it charges from any phone that supports reverse wireless charging...you just have to figure out where the charging coil on the phone is located

just a quick question as I see you've got the Nebula Gray? I've got a week ago the Night Black version but I am not convinced with the colour of the watch (the case it's a dark grey colour) and I see it a bit to sport and is kind of taking away the classy look..:( I'm thinking to return it and to get the Nebula Gray..

Yes, with an android phone you can install more watchfaces. There is also a way of installing the Chinese watchface market app...google it

It shows notifications is you enabled the notifications from the Huawei Health app. Doesn't do navigation

Hi, if the watch isn't tight enough on your wrist you may get a wrong measurement, but pretty unlikely

You play Spotify on the Apple Watch from what I know

I have bought the watch in Dubai we get extra straps and I got huawei gifts along with it which was a choice of bag or flask so I chose bag. I am using it with an iPhone and works well as a fitness watch which is the purpose.

@@djedvis indeed the vibration is good enough. It notifies me of Cala and messages and vibration is quite strong to be honest I am using it daily for workouts and even mountain climbing. I wear it under sower I am using it to maximum. It’s a good watch so far.

I have used Garmin and after using Garmin I think this is a good watch, the only difference between Garmin and Huawei is Garmin is more accurate and Huawei has more options for less price 😊 choice is yours. Best of luck 🤞 I hope you like the watch. But if you can wait a bit they are going to launch the Huawei GT 3 pretty soon. If you’re not a bg Fan of LTE watches than this is a good choice as it comes more premium.

@@mazharbang i was looking at garmin watches and they are pretty expensive, but sure they do have better accuracy for tracking. Though, i am not sure, if i will use watch for intensive tracking. Mainly looking for strong vibration, long battery life and stylish look. And it seems like gt2 pro matches all this. But if you say, there might be gt3 soon i should wait and see what it offers thanks.

u have to register to hauwei id and after download from Google play store app called hauwei health and use same login u set up during registration and in app i have 1000 faces and apps u can install via ur phone on ur watch i know because i use it and all features works perfectly fine i live in Canada i hope this help i know some ppl have issue but this is only solution and works
