I really like my huawai but can see xiaomi is really getting better and passing huawei's performance behind.

Great test! I have phones with A13, Snapdragon 855 , Kirin 980, Exynos 9820, Kirin 710,Snapdragon 660 and Helio P60 and except videography I love Kirin chipsets because battery life is great (very less standby draining as well) and still smooth gaming experience. It's just sad that GMS is not on Mate 30 and P40 series. Btw, can you tell me the title of the game you were playing from 4:21 ?

@@User___005 When you talk about the SoC itself, you may be right.However, battery life of the phone is not simply due to the SoC. It's about how well that SoC is optimised for the phone(phone maker). That's why Huawei with their Hisilicon Kirin and Apple with their A bionic SoCs have good efficiency. Just try a standby drain test with several brands. I compared my S10+(Exynos), Mate 20 Pro(Kirin980),iPhone 11(A13) and OPPO Reno 10x zoom(SD855) by standby draining leaving them for 7 hours.(All connected to the same Wi-Fi and for advantage to Snapdragon I put sim cards only on the Mate 20 Pro and iPhone 11. Only Huawei and Apple lost less battery(1〜2% decrease) while other phones had 4〜6% decrease. This should be because Kirin is made for Huawei phones as A bionic is made for iPhones. Qlacomm's Snapdragon is basically the best or goes after A bionic, but Qualcomm is not a phone maker so they can't provide the "best optimised performance" for a " phone ." That's why there is a gap on performance on paper and real life performance. That's also why Samsung sucks because Samsung's Exynos is their own chipsets but can't properly optimise it for themselves like Apple and Huawei.(Maybe because they sell the Exynos to Meizu, or other Chinese brands)

Kirin 1020 will destroy SD865 amd SD875 will be equal or beeter than Kirin1020 so its not who is better Kirin 1020 will be available from October 2020 and SD from March 2021 so its a cycle no one is better than anyone

@@priyamroy7387 Asus ROG 2 with Snapdragon 855+ scores almost 5,20,000 on antutu and on geekbench it's just below than 865 But kirin 9905G got a score of 4,80,000 .... So cycle didn't continues 😃 Moreover if you can't install latest games like apex legends or COD on kirin processors (no official Google play services) so there's no point of beating anyone 😄

The camera test of huawei looks very clean vs the xiaomi

Can you do it again with an Exynos S20? You are currently the only creator that does this test right, we wanna see thoae results as well. If you couldn't get a hold an Exynos S20 i would understand it tho.

This test means nothing actually....Huawei using last years Kirin Chipset while Xiaomi using the latest Snapdragon and yet huwaei is not that far behind which means how good the Kirin Processor is

1) Some apps are most likely not optimized for the huawei p40 pro because it has google play support services 2) There is a super saiyan performance mode that can be enabled on Huawei which results in insane short term performance. 3) Animations on both phones can/should be turned off (It can cause visual hiccups and give us the illusion that one phone is faster due to a slight tweak in animation) - Developer Options

Please make a speed test in realme x50 pro and p40 pro.

To be honest i did not felt much difference and p40 looks really beautiful compare to xiaomi device and on the other hand most of the task huawei did fast like unlock and camera etc and in keep app cached on reopening them was same as xiaomi

I was told that the P40 opens apps faster the more you use the same app over time and it also prevents the phone from slowing down by using Ai. It also uses less battery when gaming.

mi 10 pro has better cpu/gpu and p40 pro is better at every other aspect but xiaomi has google services, so xiaomi is the only way to go between these two

110000 performance difference in antutu? Wow that's huge. I think Huawei is intentionally making it's processors slower than Qualcomm. Maybe to save on making cost to earn more profit? I don't think Huawei is not capable of making equivalent processors.

no, kirin 990 is design with A76x because they finish the chip before the A77x released, snapdragon design with A77x. 77 is about 20-30% faster that 76x so kirin 990 is losing its power against snapdragon. Wait until next kirin chip come out then

Huawei is capable of beating Qualcomm with its chips... Huawei is a big company.. Revenue is upwards of $100 billion. Qualcomm is much much smaller. Huawei certainly has the resources to beat just about any company.

Too much colors does not mean accurate colors... we need something much more real and p40 pro gives that

@@mr.nathang2782 look at the Brightness diffrence between them 3:00. Pale color does'nt means accurate color. Look at the white color and the note, mi 10 pro's white color is more accurate and the note has a better contrast(has a wider color gradiant). All of them can be because of Brightness, you need to equalize Brightness to see wich is giving accurate colors. P40 pro's delta value had not announced yet, mi 10 pro has best delta value for now.

Yes... really not worth the hussle to do all the hacks in order to get alternatives for Google apps. If it was really worth it (much better price / much better performance / much better look) then yes, but it brings no advantages over other flagships and the price is very high.

Definitely cant agree. For now this phone takes the best photos on the market. The chip is still the one of the fastest, noone feels the difference. The back and front design look just amazing, despite the cut out but it does give US better and more secure face id. Ofcourse if you are one of the people that cant find alternatives for the apps you wont buy It. Lets say this phone is not for the kids that have to get everything at the beginning. Altought more clever people will find the way.

@@maxchopin409 the average consumer won't touch Huawei. Without Google Play services it rules out 99% of potential buyers. They guys who want to sideload apks wont mind. I'm fine trying that method. Can't get updates. Need to go get new APKs all the time. No thanks. The performance of the P40 is weak. Can't even crack the 500k mark on Antutu. THE 865 is doing 600k+. I will never buy Huawei again.

@@mickfitz76 you can use alternative app stores for keeping your apks updated. And you are right, this phone is not for everyone. But you shouldn't scold huawei for that. It is doing everything it can to provide the best user experience. App gallery is growing day by day and since it's Android, you can always install aptoide or something similar. And imo installing an apk is not the most difficult task in the world it takes 2 extra steps and 10 more seconds... It's not going to save you time for your appointment in Mars. Even common people can do that... So stop spreading shits Again, it's not huawei's fault. It's the bloody American government which banned it for political reasons. And don't undermine to advantages of NOT having gms... Better privacy and way better battery life. And if you are one of those people who can't replace few gapps with better alternatives, shut the fuck up. It's not for people like you. I am sure, this phone will sell wonders in China and even Europe especially since it's cheaper and better than the competition and people of Europe don't fuck Google as much as Americans Imo only Google app that's good is youtube and again, there are better alternatives like KZread vanced that will work on p40 pro.
