Great review as always. I would say that the hole Google apps thing is no big deal even on a phone. I have a Mate 40 pro and my only nitpick is not being able to log in to Google maps and photos. I still use Google maps without logging in and petal maps when I want to save a new location to return to. Google photos replaced with onedrive. Another issue that I have is that notifications for Microsoft teams and WhatsApp aren't great when the phone is not awake.

I have mostly the same setup for my P40 Pro. You can try looking into MicroG and use it’s cloud messaging to fix the notification issues. Works most of the time for me.

If you don’t need google then Matepad has smoother software with less bugs. But it can’t run google apps like KZread and stuff

Yes it can. Although doing it wirelessly is sort of laggy I prefer using cable

I hope Huawei in future switches to or offers tablets with 3:2 aspect ratios. I am tired of these narrow screens which are not good for textbook readings or notetaking.

What about netflix?? I dont want to install netflix from apkpure or petal search. Because its kinda feel unsafe for me. And one more thing. Is that YT vanced is safe? I mean im afraid there is a spyware or malware behind it.

How long does Huawei keep updating the OS or security patches for their devices?

My mother have a huawei device anf a lot of essential apps won't work on her phone especially those payment and banking apps. Almost everything relies on google services and while harmony os is still not mature enough, it will always be a shit os. Harmony os will always be shit until there will come a time when it is already fully optimized, when it has enough support from app developers, and when it established its own ecosystem. But like what I say, right now it is still a shit OS so I would never bother buy any of huawei devices.

Depends on your budget. But overall this tablet is nicely price.

I wish they would make these tablets in 15 inch. I need a laptop replacement and 11 inch is just way too small. I also feel it should have a mediatek SOC instead of snapdragon. The keyboard is ridiculously expensive. At that price, it should come with a mouse and track pad.
