The Google issue is totally overrated: one can use the services on third party apps, partially better than the native ones (e.g. Aquamail, business cal, tasks etc...), Use other services of equivalent quality (Waze, here, sygic) or use web apps and side load (not a brainer).... The actual problem is, like in most Ultra flagships... The over Euro 1000 start price....

Awsome and detailed review of the device. But there is another difference between the mate 40 pro and its bigger brother which I didn't see you talk about in the video is the storage unit which has read and write speeds twice as fast as the mate 40/pro.

Good question, I'll check it out bud. The resolution ppi is actually the same if not more than 1440p but because the hight to width ratio is different it may not support 1440p video playback

It's not tap to show it's look at the phone with your eyes to show, the same way it rotates by tracking the orientation of your face/eyes.

Same here in uk. Don't think I can upgrade to mate 40 pro. The demand is so high, one of the official sellers in China sold out in 28 seconds (yes second!!!).

By far the best phone out now in every way, nothing else can even come close, getting the Pro Plus for sure even though prices right now are $3000 for the Pro Plus lol. Shanghai is absolutely stunning by the way, China is wonderful.
