If you are referring to 4K video recording, there is always a benefit in shooting in 4K. First, the video has a much higher bitrate and it looks more detailed on any screen - seriously, take a look at our 4K and 1080p camera samples on your 1080p computer screen and you will see a huge difference in detail. Second, it's future proofing your memories. Then again, some phones still have a superior video stabilization at 1080p which can be a make or break for specific needs. Also, not every computer would playback 4K smoothly so that might be a roadblock too. So in the end, 1080p vs 4K is a personal preference. There is no right or wrong answer.

Still using mate 20 pro and it's still working like brand new Huawei itself is a grate and expsive brand

TechnologyGeek i pre ordered this phone, still waiting on it tho. What do you think about the front camera? I think somehow it looks more blurry and not that sharp compared to some other devices. It looks like one of these app which blurrys out your pustules 😂. I still bought it because of all the other nice specifications since i dont use the front cam anyway. (I tested this in the shop)

Hi I'm mate 20 Pro user just wanted to share it's great and I like the supercharge it's really help me a lot when I'm in a rush

I'm really thinking about getting this phone, I currently have the Mate 10, and I know it can't be purchased in the US. The real question is will it still work in the US on MetroPCS?

I charged my phone full within 1 hr 2 mins fully by 01:51PM and its 11:57 now, with some uamsage in KZread what's app and pubg and other browsing and also full connected to wifi now the time is 11:57 and 44% Still left.... BEAST💪

I must say a few things! I got this phone today and I wanted to share some stuff with you guys. Many reviewers have some concerns: 1.the fingerscanner is slow and need hard pressure. Absolutely NOT. This was fixed for the release 2 the face unlock is slower. Same here, fixed for release, it is too quick for me. I can't even show my friends the finger print scanner haha 3.emui have almost all solutions to the complains, you just need to find the settings, idiots :D no app drawer? Come on. It is there haha 4.the most common mistake I see with the news gesture control :thinking you need to swipe diagonal to get the assistant. Read the fuckking notes haha. Swipe UP when close to a corner. Not diagonal haha. This is the world's best phone. I am soo happy

This phone is without doubt a powerhouse. It's the phone that made me leave Apple products and I'm very impressed. One problem is the so called 'gluegate' issue. My phone glows green like it's radioactive but Huawei have been good and will be replacing it shortly.

never never never samsung... I got S8, the use experience of S8 is really bad, need to wait for 3s when you open the camera, 10s when turn it to the video, getting hot sometimes, and stop few seconds when input message. Excuse me?? someone call this shit as a Mercedes?? I didn't own a Mercedes, but I very sure Mercedes doesn't make a shit!!! I got S1 s3 s5 and s8, I was a samsung fans but sorry I've left it now.

Yes. You get that in stock camera's pro mode. Plus the photos are waaaaay better than Oneplus. Tbh I like oneplus but they care for other features more than photography.

Google Pixel 3 XL cost the same as the Mate 20 Pro in Canada. Comparing hardware between the two the Pixel is inferior, Google should price the phone @ $600 for the XL and $500 for the Pixel 3

Google and Apple don't need 6-8gb RAM or very high end processors ( which they have by the way) to compete with these phones. Their magic is in software and one nice features like 120hz touch input rate

Fighters Entertainment Network benchmarks are one thing and real world usage has been a another! If you’re worried about not having 6-7 apps open in the background then either you need a new job or you’re livelihood depends on your phone! In the latter case I agree but how many do you think work like that? As for me, launch speeds are important than having more ram drain battery.

Only the models which were released in the beginning were affected by it. The issue has been fixed quite some time ago.
