no need to learn c and c++ , it would be good if u r learning java directly , it ll not create any ambiguity

I think you can go directly to java. But knowledge in C and C++ helps you to understand how computer and java actually works... Java is a high level language. High level languages encapsulates many things, makes your work easily done. But you will never know how (?).
