The newbie developers get confuse about the use of DIV tag so I just concentrated on how to use div tag to make web page divisions. Next it's just a matter of replacing semantic tags with the elements having the same id selectors name since all these semantic tags are the special type of DIV tag.

Can u explain me....if we take list of sport like cricket,hockey....on left div .and when I click on any sport his information will display on next div.....

Ye kaam plain JavaScript k through b karwaya ja sakta hay aur agar ap server say response get kerna chahtay hein without refreshing the page, to b possible hay. Here goes to logic: 1 - Attach a click event handler with some section on your page. 2 - Select the section (where you want to show the info) and set the HTML content in there using JavaScript 3 - In case of AJAX request, send an AJAX request to the server, get response and show it in your desired section. Use jQuery instead of vanilla JavaScript. It will dramatically simplify things.

Not a good idea for now since it does not have a good browser support. Whenever you want to use some new, just make sure it has a good browser support as per your needs. Use this website to check browser compatibility related to CSS properties caniuse.com/#search=grid;

You suppose to put the logo in the maroon section which is located on the left top corner. Just put an img tag wrapped in an anchor tag and you are done. Id if you want to put the logo in the center of that logo section, you can use text-align:center on logo container.

This lesson was published in 2015 and you commented on it in 2020. In this whole time a lot of stuff has been changed. At that time when I recorded this video, there were some drawbacks using display:inline-block for many reasons. Now you can build layouts using display:inline-block. If you want to target only latest browsers then you can use flexbox model which is way cooler than float and inline-block. Whenever you build web pages, It's not just you choose one thing over the other without even thinking what should you choose, why should you choose a certain thing and what are the pros and cons. It's always some research prior to build out some quality product.

You really need to work on your basics. Using display:inline will surely mess up stuff. An inline element cannot respects margin top, margin bottom and same is the case with pedding. So it's better to keep the element block level.

I don't like mobile at all for code writing. For coding, you should at least use a tablet PC or iPad. Again PC or Laptop are the best solutions.

Hello Assad for some reason, my navbar width is smaller than header width. 100% i followed your lesson and completed this exercise. I tried setting the width to 100% but it didn't work. I tried width:device-width; but it still didn't work. Can you tell me the reason why this navbar appears smaller than the header width and how to fix it please?

There are more than one techniques to handle a HTML structure. If you think your header, footer and content has the same width, you can put them all in one container. If you think your footer and header will have full page width and content will have different width, you can then put header and footer outside of the container.

Sir, Actually I want to know here you control '#left-panel' & '#right-section' div under 'container' div by using '#container::after' display' float' & display'. In this situation if I have 3 or more divs like '#left-panel' & '#right-section' as a child of container div, can I control them this similar system? Last night I tried it by taking 3 divs like '#left-panel' & '#right-section' . it is properly controlled. If I have 3/4 divs under #right-section or #left-panel, can I control them the same way?

There are situations where you need to put a div tag to clear the float after floated elements. Watch all of my tutorials related to float and float clearing techniques and you will get the idea.

It's better if you use some pre-built slider instead of writing by yourself. If you are good at JavaScript, then it should not be a big deal for you.

Sab say pehlay ap static pages ki practice karo. Static pages mein ap ko code duplicate karna ho ga. Yahi har page mein aik side pay menu ho ga aur right side pay uska content. Agar ap ko static pages bananay aa chukay hein aur dynamic ki taraf ana chahtay hein to koi server side langauge use kar k ap isay bohot asani k sath tackle kar saktay ho. For example: Ap header ka code aik file pay store kar lo (header.php) Side menu ka code aik file pay store kar lo (side_menu.php) Footer ka code aik file pay save kar lo (footer.php) Jo content wala code hay usay aik file pay save kar lo lekin us mein jo content ho ga wo click kiye gay link k mutabik ho ga. For example use clicks about us, to phir ap content.php wali file pay about us wala content show karo gay. Iska sequence kuch is tarha say banay ga: Filename: content.php content.php wali file ka code kuch iss tarha say ap ko dekhai day ga:
