Hopefully in the future HTC will launch flagship smartphones again

The only downside is that 7 gen 1, they should have gone with the 7+ gen 2. Man, this is the only reason why I am skeptical about buying this device. Through sooner or later I will buy it as no devices are launching with MicroSD slot+3.5mm jack.

I was soooo excited for this phone till I found out its pure Android. HTC used to have one of the best OS ever 😢

@piyushtripathi7515 I'm not getting this. I can't believe HTC didn't use their OS on top of Android. This is pure Android and now it's like any other generic smartphone that doesn't stand out. It doesn't give anyone an incentive to buy it. Unbelievable!

@@ReviewJunkee I am a Vanilla Android purist and would definitely buy anything with stock Android over some heavy and gaudy OEM skin. Though I agree with your observation that this device doesn't feature anything that makes it stand out.

@piyushtripathi7515 Thanks. I appreciate you being open-minded. I can only buy Android if HTC, LG, or Samsung put an overlay on top of the OS. To Me pure Android is such a BORING OS. When I see that gallery app that hasn't changed in over a decade, I just wanna run to the door screaming.

The looks very good but not for the asking price.....HTC has been absent for a long time, they should price it accordingly. You have much better options for this price. The Moto edge looks better

Good review, if you use the phone on 90hz instead of 120hz would the battery perform much better?
