Super pucker factor there. A few feet lower when you turned on the gyro and that would have ended badly. Nice no panic save! I have a Ziroli Beech D-18 that I got from my father when he passed away. It took me another 1200.00 to finish it on top of the 4000.00 he had into it. I almost lost it on maiden and to afraid to fly it again now that I got the bugs worked out. All I see is 1, something my father scratch built and 2, a whole lot of dollar signs. lol

Man I almost crapped... LOL Good Job my man. Sweet Bird for sure. I want one... lololol

By the way I really enjoyed the after flight talk with the guys, some inside talk of the gyro, thanks!!!

MAN!!!! What a pucker LOL I lost my Tigercat that way, the gyro was reversed ( my fault ) and i really didn't need my gyro as well

Dang dude! That sort of thing makes me want to continue to avoid gyros in my planes, unless they come with them BNF style lol

The bigger the plane the less you need a gyro. That's my experience anyway from using all kinds of gyros over 20 some years.

haha, that guy holding the plane saying its right, no, its WRONG, I can see it going the wrong way, I definitely wouldn't have him help in the future, haha. Did you guys check it before flying? Cool bird though, bigger always flies better!! Good save on that one!

Does anyone know if the foam body and wings turn to a popcorn type surface when exposed to the heat from the sun like most foam kits??

I’m human unfortunately we make mistakes but I’ve always promised to show the good and bad here on the channel hopefully people can learn from my mistakes

If I had a dime for every time I had the gyro reversed... You should see the Parts Order I’ve saved from MotionRC, Horizon Hobby and Hobby Zone. I thought I was just a bad flyer. I’m also a bad programmer of receivers.

Hey is their a way I can run as3x 6channel receiver I would love to have safe and this might be the next plane I get

Merry Boozer RC I can Y the brakes to flaps I did that on my f-4 half flaps only flaps full flaps brakes turn on well thanks for letting me know it can be done people wear telling me you could not run spektrum as3x thanks again

l worked on tbirds in the U S A F and the wings look like they are bent down thats not the way a tbird looks at all.

I've had a reversed gyro too, it isn't fun

Time to change the underwear, then work on the gyro...just remember to breathe!

That looked like fun, i never did that on a maiden! NOT!

@@MerryBoozerRC those Gyros settings are a pain sometimes you think it looks correct but I guess he didn't turn up his gains to check it more closely like I did on my F-117 maiden. The Landing always seems a little tricky on this bird.

Why would he have a reverse setting on the switch

looks nice.....but it`s a lame duck.

Looks underpowered to me.

The guy that lifts the plane at the end to test the gyro makes me cringe....Those aileron gyro corrections are reversed! It’s not right!
