I bought my first microturbine a month ago (the same 60N Swiwin you were flying) and the plan was I was going to just test the thing on ground and learn a bit about turbine engines and maybe, just maybe, a couple of years down the line I would buy/build a plane to fly it. After all, my 90 mm 10 S EDF composite Albatros would be exciting enough for me for a good while, I thought. Well, that was until I watched this video. I just placed an order for the Super Viper. Thank you guys for ruining my austerity plan. Thanks a bunch.

Awesome! Different take. I flew 45lb turbines years ago. Big into it. Not a builder, the prep and build expense for me made it tough. After 4yrs, I sold out. After seeing this, it’s exactly what I am looking for to jump back in. Turbines are The most joy to fly. Subscribed! Looking for Andy now. 😁

The Freewing Avanti S with K45G3 in Europe is perfect also😀👍. Them brakes i bought to, perfect like you see in your video. I first did an edf 11 blade/esc upgrade and the turbine will come later. The sound is almost the same, but still turbine kicks assss😂. We would love to see the build video or even a talk about what goes inside.

G'day pilot Ryan i have been flying pretty quick sports models for years now and have been looking into getting into turbines but im not really wanting to go down the path of EDF.. just dont want to deal with Lipo's . Would you recommend maybe hoping into something like this? Would really appreciate your feedback.

great flight there guys and awesome model man , i have a question as he was taxi'n out he had a fuel tank on the wing whats its purpose and how come you dont see others do this or is this an option to use less fuel whilst starting and taxing and saving the onboard fuel for the main flight , yeah just curious to know as i can see myself in the not to distant future flying one of these beasts as like you guys where saying there becoming more and more affordable as time gets on , cheers guys and thanks for another great video as always - love cheers and big salute to you all

They look great when taken out of the box. After a few outings, it’s like a foam cooler, dents everywhere

A year ago a plane like this was not even in my wildest dreams but now I'm thinking something like this will be after the F22. My only question is how hard is it to set up & tune the turbine.

That’s a great question. I know that the foam is more dense than other dismiss plus there is some shielding in the area

Yea that's the only problem its a great affordable jet bit but HSD is doing a terrible job keeping us buyer's with replacement parts.

Its a turbin. Turbins fly so well just ram your head in the turbin it will fly sooooo much better... it's a fucking turbine not a turbin
