Just AWESOME! Any advice for 2 guys who have the delusion that we can do something like this?

Anyone can do this with some dedicated friends and practice. Start with something easy to fly and less expensive like an Aeroscout or wing. Don't be afraid to mid-air and push yourself to get closer and closer each flight.

would you agree the better pilot is not the lead but the wingman? My thought is the lead should just be smooth but the other position needs higher pilot skills@@BlackstarFPVDemoTeam

@@gsulliv1 Lead needs to be smooth and communicate VERY well, this cannot go unsaid. The lead needs to watch airspeed/alt, call out turns + corrections and maintain a heading to make a single trip in the pattern. You are setting up rest of the formation for success if you have a smooth confident Lead Pilot. The wings and trail positions need to use their headtracking, manage throttle and have great reaction timing while being very smooth. Wing positions needs a lot of practice and depending on which way the pattern going makes a huge difference. EXAMPLE: At our field, the outside wing goes FULL throttle on the turns to stay with the lead while the inside wing pulls the throttle to IDLE to not run into the lead.

@@BlackstarFPVDemoTeam Have you considered making a video on how to fly formation? I know a lot of people that would appreciate it.
