I could be wrong but i feel like many people chose to smoke because they wants to have defined cheekbones (basically with a good cheekbones one can develop a very visible jawline in the front profile), i noticed that shahrukh also smokes and thats why sometimes his jawline and cheeck bones looks godly. Here in this case Hrithik also has very natural cheekbones which elevates his face presence. (Could be due to smoking in past) I guess smoking devlops your cheekbones because you suck that piece of rolled paper on regular interval could be that reason however there must be better option to have good sucked up cheekbones without smoking 🤔.

Your theory is actually wrong. The real reason is exercise and steroid use.srk defined cheekbone started appearing after he started bodybuilding. given that he has very bad habits like smoking and not eating properly he surely taking some anabolics and other things to help him gain that physique and also lose body fats including in his face. some say actors also do mewing but surely the exercises is the main reason...
