Hrimfaxi ans Skinfaxi crew are unsung heroes of this war. They served to Yuktobania to the last breath and died as martyrs. Without theyr help Yuktobania could be completely destroyed by Osea but burst missiles cut the poisonous sting from Osean navy and ground troops.

When designing Skinfaxi, design engineers solved many problems in a completely different way, and this can be seen in a detailed comparison of submarines, different designs of hangars, missile silos, commander's cabin, location and model of engines - all this is very important and requires enormous development efforts. Skinfaxi turned out to be perfectly streamlined, there was not a single corner in her corps, which gave it incredible stealth for its size. It should also be noted the types of missiles for which the boats were built. Dragonet was equipped with standard ballistic missiles designed for nuclear deterrence of neighboring countries that also have nuclear weapons. On skinfaxi there is something more interesting. Yes, missiles have a ballistic flight path, but are intended primarily to destroy ships. Yes, they can be used against ground or even air targets, but with much less efficiency and difficulty in targeting. Still, these are primarily anti-ship missiles, and by the way they require a very powerful fire control system that is capable of detecting and tracking targets at a distance of several hundred kilometers.

I fail to see how it can maintain buoyancy with this much METAL.

Good god this was a pain in the ass without LASMs. Get too close and you get mauled by AA guns and SAMs. That was on _Normal_, too.

Gatrnerd I just used the F-14A because I wanted to stick with canon and I used it through the whole game except 2 missions which forced you to use the mirage and the training jet. It was one hell of an experience!

Literally just got done playing this mission in the F-14A... ...on Ace ...cockpit only ...with only SAAM’s and the gun to act as backup for the standard missiles... Yeah... pro tip: you can actually use SAAM’s as unguided Air to Ground rockets if you have good aim or aim for a tight cluster of ground units, such as the Hrimfaxi
