HRH Prince Henrik of Denmark (1934-2018)
For more than 50 years, His Royal Highness Prince Henrik worked for Denmark and Danish interests. Yesterday, 13 February 2018 , The Prince passed away after a long life, which began on a summer day in France and ended in Denmark at Fredensborg Palace, where The Prince was surrounded by his immediate family.

A wonderful supportive husband and father....i was surprised to hear him say he did not want to be buried by the queen. For the reasons he stated. That was for himself...maybe others would not understand, but he showed love for his children and grandchildren as well as for the Queen.such a nice tribute to him...

Sad very sad . Life has to end ,sorrow replaces laughter and happiness . Sincere condolence to Queen Margarethe . Henrik 's Sons Spouses And beloved grandchildren. We will all miss his "joie de vivre". RIP Prince Henrik of Denmark.

I could not believe it when I found out! I break my heart for this news !, I am always almost in touch with people close to the Danish royal family! They were the ones who sent me the news. Hooo my God ..! I am with you speaking to you in spite of the distance and at all times I give you my most sincere condolences and I give you my shoulder and my prayers so that I can be a help and you can console them in their support and in their pain. I will always be very close to you my beloved Danish royal family and when you believe it appropriate and can give your permission to visit them personally I will be there at all times with all of you. I don't blame prince Hendrk refusing being interred next to her as she cruely refused allowed to be king its sadness he never felt fully equal. I imagine he must of felt a sense of loneliness in the marrage and to show his upset in death is terribly sad and the queen must be feeling guilt not making him full equal and sad losing her husband and friend. Yet dread knowing she will be buried alone really sad situ for her and her family. Dan
