Castle Loket (in n Czech Hrad Loket) is dominating in the small town Loket which is only nine km from the larger and more knowing tourist and spy town Karlovy Vary. The Castle is easy reachable with about 15 minutes walk from public transport. Apart to other castles which require lots of climbing on the top. Castle is in a very condition. It is both guided and unguided tour. Prefer in this castle unguided as there is not that much in exhibition and history can be read in provided guidance. It was nice tour inside with a small exhibition focusing on historical arms arsenal and clothings with helmes. From outside has the castle very strong characteristics of look that hardly anyone would forget it.
Hrad Loket dominuje městečku Loket, který je jen devět km od většího a známějšího turistického a lázeňského města Karlovy Vary. Hrad Loket je snadno dostupný asi 15 minut chůze od veřejný dopravy. Kromě jiných hradů, které vyžadují spoustu stoupání na vrcholu. Hradu je ve velmi dobrém stavu. Jedná se o prohlídku s průvodcem i bez průvodce. Upřednostňujte v tomto zámku bez průvodce, protože toho není tolik v expozici a historii lze přečíst v přiloženém průvodci. Byla to pěkná prohlídka uvnitř s malou výstavou zaměřenou na historický zbrojní arzenál a oděvy s přilbami. Zvenčí má zámek velmi výrazné vzhledové vlastnosti, na které jen málokdo zapomene.
