If Bathory lives today maybe it's easier, she can buy skin care at the mini market without killing
Since I can't get over there to visit, thanks so much for uploading this.

Glad you enjoyed it!
Such an amazing ruin with it's history and stories attached. Love the colour of the stonework especially on such a bright day. Glad they are maintaining it. Don't know if I'll ever get to visit but it's definitely a dream spot to visit for me. Thanks ☘️☘️☘️

I just reshot this video and made it better. Check it out. It is much better than this one.
Quite surprised that there weren't many people there, is it that far out? Seems like a very interesting place to visit. However, it does not look like they put much money into restoring it or maintaining it at all. Thank you for the video.

M gdhse3 it’s kind of out of the way but it’s not to far via train from Bratislava. I don’t think they are trying to restore it but they do maintain it. There was some maintenance going on but it’s totally worth a visit.

There was also a little museum in the castle walls. I would imagine there would be more to experience if more people visited the site.
WHO put those FAKE skeletons in what was a storage chamber NOT a torture chamber??!! Did the archaeologists doing the excavation near the entrance of the castle know of THIS??

That is just how the people running the place made it out to be.

That Castle looks totally creepy. I wouldn't want to be there after dark.

I am going back in October with much better camera equipment to completely redo this and to try and stay as late as possible, maybe camp there if we can.

@@wanderinglensmedia4892 what part of the Castle did Elizabeth Bathroy die in. I read she also buried here as well. But nobody seems to know in what part of the castle.

@@nba2kchannel490 Shes still in the walls! Honestly though, I am not sure. The whole area is quite remote and somewhat creepy.
Interesante!
muito interessante mesmo
Is it possible to go now in this tunnels?
@wanderinglensmedia4892

The only tunnels I know of are in the town of Cachtice. I’m sure they’re open.
I dunno they say the story behind Elizabeth Bathory was simply fabricated by men to steal her fortune. On the other hand her husband seems to have been a sadist. who knows? Love this stuff. I envy you I wish I could travel to ancient sites like this and just absorb the energy. Thank you for sharing, Much Love...

There is a lot of testimony and evidence. It's a true bloody history. She was extreme sadist.
Why can't I seem to find and artifacts from bathory? Like no photos or any real artifacts from her
@wanderinglensmedia4892
Жыл бұрын
Photos were not invented back then so there won’t be photos. As far as the artifacts, I am not sure. I’m going back to this castle in a week and a half so I can ask then.
Omg moving camera way too fast and not talking us through it. Maybe next time

Wait this is real ?? Bones are there still ??
@wanderinglensmedia4892

The bones on display are fake I think. However, I am certain that there are bones somewhere on this site. It was very eerie. Soon as the borders open I’m going back to re-film this with proper cameras and microphones.
Gorgeous view it’s too bad she was evil

Right! It is an awesome sight to behold. Its only a day a two trip from Prague and a quick trip from Bratislava. If you ever go to one of those cities, stop by it.

No offense, dude, but this video would be much better with some music (let's say from dracula movie, for instance) than with the sound of your sniffling

Agreed. A lot of my old videos aren’t the best quality but they’re also very hard to reshoot as I live in America and this is Slovakia. My newer videos are better quality as I upgraded cameras and editing software. This was done before I knew about non-copyright music etc..
