Do the fog lights use the same bulb as the headlights?

So glad I ditched my trash auxbeams for the V-4’s definitely a huge upgrade

I use aux beam for high beam only and HID for low beams great combo

On the Jeep JK, One bulb serves as both high and low beam. In our testing, The Auxbeam bulb didn't perform very well in this particular housing. I'm glad you've had good luck so far though, Let me know if you ever need help with anything! -Chris W

S-V4s FTW - but do they work with Canadian DRL Jeeps?

Please do fog lights next!.. GTR, S-V.4, JWSpeaker, Baja Designs, etc. Thanks for all you do. I love the S-V.4 bulbs in my Wrangler headlights!

I really, really loved the JW Speaker foglights that I had in my last Jeep JKU. Very bright, tons of light exactly where you need it. We might do a comparison on the different Jeep fogs soon just to see whats best! -Chris W

How are the S-V4s after 4 years (if you still have your Jeep) ?

The S-V4s would have been a great upgrade for my stock JKU lamps, had they worked. One lamp was slow on turning on (took about 5 min.) and the overall pattern seemed to be nothing like the video. I spoke with support and they recommended purchasing the interface modules, although these were not supposed to be needed. The modules changed nothing so I ended up sending everything back. I was handed a 20% restocking fee to boot which seemed unfair due to the issues that I experienced. Hope others have better luck with this product on their JKUs. If you have another non-HR recommendation for replacement lamps please let me know.

Please try the GPNE R3 LED. They seem to be bright with great cut-off.

I can’t find who makes these or I can’t find a link either. Sv4.

I really like the S-V.4's. Am I correct in assuming these can be used in the OEM reflectors or do the reflectors need to be changed?

I'm going to get me a set of v4 due to this video that's one sexy Jeep. I'm trying to figure out how the tires stick out that far though I got 12.5 wide are spacers used or different wider axles?

This Jeep has stock axles and 12.5” wide tires, His wheel offset was pretty negative though.

Thank you so much for the video! I just subscribed - from NYC. I just bought a left over 2018 JK from a Jeep dealer. As care giver for a senior citizen I am going to be using the JK to travel from NYC to Connecticut, and back, on the highway(i95), approximately 200 miles round trip. The weather could be normal season hot/cold or those emergency run, later at night, in heavy rain and snow. Quick question(‘s): What type of upgrade headlights/tail lights/fog lights would you recommend for the above listed travel conditions and If possible to answer, the height of your test JK, does it have a lift kit and what type of tires/rims rose it sit on? PS: I have the same grille inserts and they are working great! Thank you again!

That JK did have a lift, However it was a local customer and we don’t have the specs available at the moment. I might be able to find out for you though!

@3:53 - the bulb that is displayed for the S-V.4 shows 2 tiny LED lights on both sides of the 'bulb'. If I go to the link you provided and look at the same bulb it only shows a single LED light on both sides. Though I just ordered from the link you provided (thank you!)- just want to ensure I'm looking at the same thing... 🤔

Yep! These are only legal for fog use. Where you install them is up to you as the end user though!

Did you need the anti flicker harness for these? Specifically the Morimotos?

The JW Speaker sealed beam headlights are a very solid choice, As far as a replacement headlight assembly they are one of the best available. The SV4 bulb is an excellent choice for a drop in replacement bulb that retains your original headlight housing.

Do these still work as day time running lights or just low-high beam?

As long as you use the PWM Module, they'll work as both!

So no test on the cougar motor x small? Bulbfacts rates it pretty high, for being $35 a set, are you guys just not going to test it?
