He shakes his head, tries to ignore the speed of his heart and the tremors of his hands, and forces himself to press the contact he's been spamming lately. He clicks the call button, and pulls it against his ear. Loud, pained screams filled with anguish echoed alongside the ringtone he set specifically for the one he admires and aspires to be, rings in his brain as if a broken record playing on repeat. He waits. He waits for the voice he wants to hear with baited breath because God knows what will happen if the last things he'd ever hear and see from Morisuke are vulnerability the neglected pleas to be released, which are the exact opposite of who the older's always been and shown to those around him. The exact contradiction of the Morisuke he's grown to like.
