We all deserve to be brutally punished for our wrongdoings, but Jesus, in His infinite mercy, chose to save us by willingly dying an excruciating death on the cross so that He is punished instead of us. Therefore, we have this extraordinarily generous “plea deal” that we can accept, where we get off, scot-free, as long as we accept Jesus as our Savior, turn away from our sins, and submit our lives to Jesus so that He would be our Master.

@@mechadoggy Yes, I know about that. But you're not answering my question: There are people around who says they attempted suicide but was saved by Jesus mercy and love, so they didn't die. Well that is nice, but what about all those people has attempted suicide and succeeded? Why weren't they saved then, if Jesus could've saved them? Maybe... He just plays favorites.

That moment when JESUS runs to her, and stands over her, and takes the beating... I just absolutely lose it every time ❤️ So beautiful, and an absolute perfect depiction of GOD’S love for us. And then when HE throws everyone back... It shows the incredible victory we can have through HIM, by just believing in HIM, asking HIM for forgiveness of our sins, and accepting HIM as our LORD, SAVIOR, and MASTER... and as our FRIEND.

I was working at chilies and me and the dishwasher became friends cause we were both Christians and he sent me this video while I was at work. I propped my phone on the shelf and played the vid and kept working. 3 mins later I was crying while trying to make the orders on the screen😂. It hit close to home

The church I went to for 8 years did this skit as well and it was very good but this is probably my favorite

Hi. I feel like I need to say something. 15 years ago when this skit was really popular among churches and youths I performed this with mine. I was the girl in all the acts. I forgotten all about this, never had it once crossed my mind and today I saw it on insta stories. I watched this again and bawled like never before. I went through everything in this skit. Toxic relationships, the love of money, alcoholism and drugs, and last but not least I was suicidal. I left God for a really really long time. I recently came back. He saved me. That’s all I wanted to say.

I remember my wife doing this as a youth in her church. I was deep in depression alcoholism and just lost. I had been up drinking all night and saw the dvd she had of her and I cried silently knowing I was so far from God. It still took me years to finally come to His feet and plead for my salvation. But I’m so thankful He had been planting seeds for so many years.

When I first saw this as a kid in Elementary, I was so sure that I wouldn’t want to be like her. And like, why would someone growing up in church feel the need to be tempted with boyfriends while studying, gambling, beer, cigar, vanity??...how could someone learn how to hurt oneself, end one’s life? I told myself that at a young age. But here I am. I suddenly remembered this amazing skit while I’m at my low times at 23 years young. And WOW this skit relates so well with me shockingly even if I’ve seen it before. Sin is definitely no joke and the devil doesn’t stop till it finds that weakness of yours. Only now do I realize and remember the lessons they teach you in Sunday school. I can’t remember where I really went wrong. If you’re still reading this, maybe you could include me in your prayers? I’d love that. It’s just..so hard to keep it all within and keeping my struggles to myself. I do still attend church but I can’t find anyone to divulge my struggles with. And my parents are getting old and I really want to spare them the heartache. But no one has to deal with this alone so I’m really hoping one day I would stop going downhill and finally see the end of my cycle of sin. I don’t know how but I want to hold on. I want to have her ending like I always wanted to.

When my friend showed this to me, I cried and couldn't stop. The part when Jesus ran and took the beating of sin for her while protecting her. It reminded me that Jesus took the beating and bruises of sin for me, so I can be with Him on day. I cried my eyes out! What a wonderful reminder of when we turn our backs on Jesus, He never turns his back on us. Nothing can beat God's love...NOTHING!

A friend showed me this clip in 2014, I was still in high school. And it changed my life, I'm feeling so down today, I couldn't pray then I remembered this clip , I couldn't remember the song or the name as I never asked. It's been almost a decade then I cried again from the memory of the day I saw it. My spirit led me to search KZread for it, I didnt know what to search then I heard search for "the girl jesus saved" and then I saw this it's been 9 solid years😢😢😢😢 ..this is my sign that Jesus is right here.. hallelujah

This skit perfectly describes life. After you're past the age of innocence, especially in teens, (I am a teen myself) you want to be like the rest of the world. The world is so full of evil and sadness, and theres so much pressure on you to be like everyone else, you want to end it all. You've tried getting back to Jesus, but you get pulled right back away from Him. Then, sadly most of them do end up with the world, in hell. But some can fight against it and go back to Him. When you do get to Him, its like the weight of the world is gone off your shoulders. You feel like a new person, and all the things that oppressed you are dead and gone. This is so truthful. :)

As an agnostic you can't deny that this was a moving performance. I really see this as you did, not loving yourself and allowing yourself to give into your impulses and being surrounded by bad mental health and subsequent illnesses. This entire performance to me is your inner child finally being protected by a healthy, happy you. I wholeheartedly don't believe in religion but it fascinates me all the same.

Emily Lucas me too, few days ago I was cutting my hand and it was so bad, I saw my hands and cried. My teacher saw me why I always use sleeves in class and when She saw my hands She was crying. She said Jesus loves me and today when the whisper in my head I always said Jesus loves me very much.

This is such a powerful skit! I started crying at 1:44 when Jesus tried to grab a hold of her and she was ripped away. Jesus is always yearning for a deeper, more intimate relationship with us. He is jealous for us, and his love is forever. What a perfect message.

The realization of your calling starts with prayer, whatever it is He has called you to do, you do it with your whole heart. As teenagers, we performed this same skit many years ago at a Camporee for youth, in Ontario, Canada. Very powerful skit. No matter how many years go by, the message of this skit will always remain true. True happiness and peace, is only found when we come to Christ and we focus on Him. Temptations and problems will occur, but He has already defeated them for us. We just have to TRUST HIM.

my friend sent me this. we have been friends since high school and have stayed in touch of and on for 15 years. I'm a recovering addict clean now for over a year. it's a perfect representation of what we go through everyday trying to reach god and I realized I can stop looking because he never left. god bless

I am in recovery as well. I saw this skit while at an Easter Sunday service in rehab. That was almost 8 years ago, but it still serves as a powerful reminder of God's UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for me, no matter where I am in life!

I remember being shown this video in secondary school, during this point in my life although I believed in God always have done my life was in a dark place, everything this skit showed I endured and even at present I am still battling with some hardship, but now my faith in God has matured so much since the first time I saw this skit and although it moved me back then 12 years later I grew to understand that no matter what I faced, no matter whether I lost sight of him God had never forsaken me and he never will he is true unconditionally love, and I give him all praise and credit for how far I have come and for the trials and tribulations I have been able to overcome in his name, he is a mighty God a forgiving God, a God of true pure love and nurture. My life and my children’s life will forever be in his hands. Father I ask for nothing, I just thank you for everything in Jesus name 🙏🏾

Not a religious person but an emotional one. I saw this years ago in school & it just stayed with me all these years.

My students performed on it..it took the audience who came from different religion in tears and everyone praised the Lord🙏🏻

A buddy of mine saw this skit live. He showed it to me when he came back from Winterfest. I still watch it from time to time and I cry the entire time. Jesus is more than enough. Even being a grown man (age 44 as of this writing), the "chase" can consume you. But, Jesus is MORE than enough. God bless you all. I pray you and yours are blessed by watching this.

I still remember seeing this for the first time so many years ago. It still breaks me apart all the same. This world has been wicked with little rest, but Christ has eased any pain I've been through. Bless this witness.

While watching this, I realized how beautiful the scene where Jesus is pushing the girl’s temptations and the enemy away from her (I couldn’t think of a better thing to call the people who portrayed the girl’s addictions). I realized that Jesus was shielding her from their attacks and she had found peace. I realized that He was in a battle and she was finding peace praising Him. It was beautiful and deep

I think this one's my favorite because of the crowd's interaction and cheering when she finally stands up and begins to run back to God.

Yeah the cheering is powerful and touching - it’s so loud in Brian1234567890’s original version of the video. This remastered one has no sounds of cheering which loses some of the power. But Jesus is so good!! 🌟✨

This skit should have way more views it’s so emotional and powerful beyond belief

I played one of the "demons" in this back in 2009 and it still effects me to this day. Reminds me of my personal journey to finding my Hope in Jesus Christ. He pulled me out of so much and this skit really strengthens my faith in Him.

I’ve been converted about 18 months now, and just watching this for the first time in March 2021 and it hit me, this is a powerful message of how much Jesus truly wants His bride!

I cry every time I see this.

I come back to this every few years. To me it depicts the father.. Our father sun. Who wants to protect us and have us enjoy his majestic earth. And yet mother moon and mother earth are also strength. The strength that we have within our struggles. The strength to get through. Back to the light.

I love this because it's the only thing that actually shows what the battle looks like

Indeed, you are still very young and all you've been through, with the grace of God will only be transformed in wisdom, strength and compassion towards those who are, or will be, going through the same.

I saw the pics of this skit, my mother send me this when I was lockup. Since that day my life change, as soon I go out of jail I found this video. Still getting on my knees thanking God for he's mercy. Praise the name of Jesus!

This was the skit that helped me understand what Jesus could do. I was in a dark place years ago, but He fought for me. I didn't need to do anything, except surrender to Him. Forever grateful for this skit, everyone involved in it, and to our Lord Jesus Christ for the new life. To anybody out there who needs comfort, may you remember, your life is precious, Jesus loves You and is willing to fight for you, you only need to be still and surrender to His leading. I pray someone will share Jesus with you. ❤️

Saw this in church growing up and rewatching this in 2024 as a 27 year old with a kid, it definitely strikes a new nerve. Christ is King.
