Good demo. Those shocks look really good. You always do a great job with your upgrades on your vehicles. Will be fun to see run this rig. And it bites when life is to busy to play with the toys.

Thanks, This one was different. Took me a while to figure out what I was going to do because I loved the stock body and green wheels and was not changing that. Then it just came to me. Upgrade the whole suspension with green aluminum. I took a pic of the suspension. Then use photoshop to color it green. I was like holy crap it looked killer. Right away Started searching for the parts. lol!

Ha ha ha! Of course I'm going to run it. Once I finish a vehicle to my standards. Then I'll run them like I did the 4Tec and Xmaxx. I guess I'm anal about it. lol! I just love the whole building and upgrading part. I have all these ideas rushing through my mind in seconds when I have a new vehicle on my hands. When I crashed my 4tec. I was not even mad about it. I saw the damage and my mind was already going about fixing it. lol!

Those shocks suck there is no dampening at all. I bought a set for my Jato and was very disappointed. Push them up and down no dampening and then push the stock shock up and down and you can see the difference. Good luck with them I found them to be a big waist of 💰

Not all show sir! Thats why they have all levels of shock oils to choose from. Depends on how your going to run your vehicle. Do some homework before you state your views 👍👍👍👍👍👍

That is some bling what are you going to to do with those other shocks? also are they 100mm?

Hi there, nice truck. I have a question which I have asked quite a few youtuber’s and none of them seem to reply. I own 2 of this cars and they have both been sitting there now for around 5 years. There is a video on KZread from HPI telling you what gearing to use to run a 3s lipo in them. So I changed both of my cars to the gearing which the video said and it made every one of my lipo’s swell up after changing it. Do you know what gearing I should be using to run a 3s lipo in them, but have changed the ESC to a Hobbywing WP-SC8 and the motor is a vektor 5900kv. Motor also gets very hot, but was swelling the lipos before with the stock set up and since changing motor and esc still doing the same thing. Watching your video has made me want to get my cars up and running again.

Does not matter what motor, ESC, and gearing you have. Your lipos are not suppose to puff. You must be charging your Lipos the wrong way. Never charge your lipos over the Charge rate. For example if your lipos have a max charge rate of 5. Charge them at 2 or 3 charge rate. Also once in a while do a balance charge. If your not going to use your lipos in a couple of days, weeks, or months. Charge them on storage mode. Also make sure your lipos are the right voltage for your electronics. It cant be lower or higher. It has to be exact. Rc cars get hot so you have to watch your temps. Intstall a heatsink and fans on the motor. Also dont run your RC back to back. Let it cool down after each run so your electronics or motor wont get damange. Hope these tips will help. Also theres alot of cheap lipos out there. Traxxas lipos are known to puff and Traxxas chargers are crap. I use the Venom Quad Charger. Its a really good easy to use charger.

I am grateful that you replied. I have Turngiy Mega 400w Charger and Turnigy batteries. I also balance them every time. The batteries are swelling up while using the car not charging them. On videos I have seen people gear it down but I don’t want the car to go slower. I don’t know what to say. Thanks for replying.

@@SEC0NDTW0N0NE Its not recommend to balance your batteries everytime you charge them. If you go on the Traxxas site theres a gearing chart matching gears and which lipos to use. I think Arrma has a gearing chart also. That will give you an Idea. Also you said you changed the electronics. Call the company and talk to the Tec Department. They will know exactly what gearing and lipos to use.
