For as much as I collect I’m surprised myself that I never ended up with a savage. I worked on a few for my friends and I hated working on them. I’ve been a LST fan for many many years too. I’ll take the savage thought since it seems there’s some kind of parts support still, which is super important if you plan on bashing. Thanks for watching

I told him that. Right now I’m still keeping up with my 3.3, he’s got a ton of torque and can still gear. And yes we are still running it nice and rich. That engine handles a rich setting surprisingly well compared to other engines, she just gives out a nice steady plume of smoke. Thanks for watching!

Great video Ed keep it up love the nitros. Hpi just re released the savage 4.6 I had my eye on that truck for awhile. That looks like an awesome spot to run those trucks very wide open. The racers edge looks like it has some power.

I have a NIB one I just received a couple weeks ago 😁, I’m super excited to see HPI trying to come back, I’ve always been a fan of their products. It’ll probably stay in the box for a while since I got my ones to beat up on already but it seems like one of those iconic trucks to collect for sure. Definitely the best option available at the moment in its class. Thanks for watching!

Nice video and great bash spot, it's nice to be left alone and not be hounded by people or park police. Anyway, I had a big block Revo fully done up and between that and a Savage, I prefer the Savage. Savage isn't as indestructible as the fanboys make it out to be but it is a solid truck. Wish I never sold my XL! I'm on the waiting list to buy a re-release Savage X from HRP so looking forward to that but what I'd REALLY love to see is for HPI to release that XL 2.0 they showed off years ago. Wouldn't be too hard to do at this point either. #nitrogang

Thanks! Yeah we try to not be around if there is people at the park. We’ve been going Sundays and it’s been all to ourselves since last year. I was able to snag one of the NIB savage Xs just recently as well. It’ll probably stay in the box for a while since I already have one to beat up on. I like my Traxxas rigs, as you can see from my videos. They make a decent truck and they have the absolute best parts supply over any company, I don’t care what anyone says, that’s a fact. Thanks, I had those racers edge motors for a bit and had never run them. I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve been wanting to pick up an LRP to give it a shot because I’ve seen them running hard also. Would be a good comparison.

@@edrc1793 I mean if mine was tuned as good as urs it would probably be closer. I have a novarossi and a modded lrp probably wilder but those did great. Very impressed

I am really liking bones brew. I do run it in my 3.3s. I actually have a video of the 3.3 when I switched to it and shows very good comparison vs running 20 percent. Its the T-maxx 3.3 video that shows a view of the sky in the thumbnail, check it out. Thanks for watching

Ed quick question brotha been having issues trying to tune my LST Mach .26 stalls when I give it gas. Adjusted high and low needle to break in spec even though it is already broken in. Bought a new glow plug and new nitro gas. Maybe you can give me some pointers. Please and thank you

Hi, the engine in this is not the Mach .26. The original Mach .26 from this truck was also very troublesome to tune. I feel I’m decent at tuning and that darn Mach .26 was just never running right. I feel it’s an issue with the carburetor but I haven’t gone through the trouble of really figuring it out yet. Mine also feels like it has great compression and everything checks out, there’s just no consistency

@@edrc1793 been reading a lot on forums about how this motor gives a lot of issues. Ended up purchasing another motor waiting for it to come in. My question though is if I wanted to replace the nitro tank with another one. Do you think the XXL2 gas tank will work? Everything will line up

I’ve bought some of of EBay. Look up the part number by downloading the manual and search using the part number instead of the name of the part.

I've got a Savage a T-Maxx and a LST and a Duratrax RTX 27 Warhead

3-speed Savage 4.6 with LST shocks

LST is best truck ever.

Yeah it’s a first for me on a LST. I’m buying a couple extras though because I do enjoy driving that thing.

That revo's way too lean on top you can hear it trying to overheat but nice level jumps I think the LST did better
