Heelllp!!!!??? A new diff and rebuilt old diff operate exactly as yours done on completion... Once installed however they won't turn opposite unless I hold the bell or hold the brake pad closed little... Doing my head in 😅

About as smooth as they should be too so I'm at a loss? My clutch isn't stuck on or anything as far as I can tell

I rebuild my baja diff and had it out over the summer months then stored it away for the winter and now I have diff oil leaking out. It all gathered underneath. What do you think u did wrong?

Hi can you tell me what the red fluid is your using on the screws and where you pushed the outer bearings on to. I'm new to the hobby and just got my first 1\5. Thanks

Hi, the red fluid is called red loctite or red thread lock as well. It's used to maintain strong bond between surface where applied.

Awesome video. Thank you so much. Could you by any chance do a complete tear down and re install of the HPI Baja. If not, at least the engine on and off the chassis part please? Thank you 🙏

Thank you very much! I wouldn't mind doing that but if you want to remove the engine and also rebuild the entire car I'd suggest going through some of team fast eddy Baja build videos. They should help you in my opinion. :)

But how do you remove the pin (there is no space but a way there is at the moment the ignore) of the differential in order to extract and replace the bearing? Thanks so much.

What do you do if the diff pin is stuck? Removed bolt and gear but that pin will still not slide out.

This is crazy.... Friend asked if I can replace his dif cup on his Baja this is the closest video I could find on a Baja dif video idk what I'm goin to tell him

Those two left over brown o-rings.. What are they for?

The ones at 1:30? Those are metal thick washers.. Replaced by their exact size ball bearings for better performance.

It's not manual recommended..30,000 wt will stress your transmission and increase engine temperature
