HP Velotechnik has long been recognized as a leader in comfortable suspension recumbent trikes. In 2021 they took another big step in improving rider comfort with the Ergomesh Premium seat. This new seat is available on new Scorpion line trikes and can be retrofit on older Scorpions.

Don't know how cool it would be on your back in the Florida heat and humidity compared to a pure mesh seat. However I love that it has more adjustments on the seat angle. That will allow a more open hip angle while riding.
I guess it should fit on a FX20 Scorpion, too.

I check with hp, you only get the XL version on a new scorpion! there a back log for just the XL version, maybe this summer! I ask Steven at HP no known date of availability as of April 7 21 but before December 21.
Do you know if it has a place on the back of the seat for water bottle holders like on the original mesh seat?

Yes, the seat has mounts for the water bottles just above the hinge on each side.

How does seat compare to the ice ergo luxe for comfort?

Douglass: I would say it is similar in comfort to the ICE seat and more adjustable.
Can this seat be retrofitted to the Streetmachine GTE?

Yes it can. The seat is hard to find right now, but fits that bike.

But looks like you need the wider underseat handlebar? I'd love that seat, but not sure I want to swap out my 60 cm bars to the 65 cm handlebar. Any suggestions Tim?@@BentRevolution

@@jmichon1 You could use the standard width seat with the 60 cm bar, but it would be better to change bars.

Needs cupholders for my beer and a pocket for the remote control. Seriously, this is a Lazyboy recliner. Everything recumbent now is comfort comfort comfort. What happened to speed speed speed?!
The price is ridiculous for that new seat , especially if you want to fit it on your older HP V, , IT SHOULD BE ESPECIALLY CHEAPER , FOR OWNERS OF OLDER BIKES....THE PRICE OF 750 IS WAY WAY OVER PRICED , NEVER BUYING THAT !

HP makes a nice product for those who need to have the most expensive toys. Other co’s make good products that are much more reasonably priced. I will never consider an HP trike…
