I wish I saw this before reading the directions. This was actually better! I was unable to connect wirelessly to the printer, and had I followed this gentleman's "alternative" directions, I might have been all set! Now maybe I'll have to go through the "hair pulling" he was referring to!

What did you do to get your wireless connect to work? I didn't see this video and went into HP Smart but it could never find my wireless. And Wireless Setup Wizard from display panel can't find it either. I am almost bald from hair pulling. Any help would be appreciated.

Great video. Wished I had opened it before I unboxed it. I noticed -- and was completely stumped -- that the scanner lid will not open if the scanner cover is lifted up off the lid. It was then that I turned to watching your video. I noticed it (the scanner lid) was down in the video and went to close it. Wouldn't you know it, that solved the problem! Anyway, nice job. Very easy to follow.

Great understandable in sequence instructions! The other setup videos are not good. You cannot enter network setup where you did anymore but I went to get the smart app and it found my wireless network and it's password (so secure?) . Thanks you helped this 67 year old with no sweat!

Thank you, just got an 8028e and this was very helpful. Unfortunately on this model you can’t select your wifi network at the point it prompts you to download the 123hp software.

Yes, you can definitely connect all devices on your wifi network to the printer and print from any of those devices

Just finished setting this printer but it wont print in color. I don't know why. Ive tried evrything. The alignment sheet doesn't print in color and when I try to align the head, it doesn't work. Any help?

This is super helpful but the one step i get stuck at is to find the printer, the biggest problem is that it doesn't want to show it being added in the laptops printer driver. And its super confusing why its doing this now. Anyone know how to fix it?

@@Reviewlamp I am so sorry to be blunt ... lol. But please upload a video on how to use this printer once you have it. So far I am very unhappy with it. When it prints one page, it spews out about 10 empty pages at the same time. I can not figure out how to print a document that has color images on it. They come out black and white when I want color. I am very frustrated. I set up the printer per your very HELPFUL video as far as wireless, etc. And that works. But I'm not happy so far. It might just have to go back to HP.

I bought one of these slightly used and it didn't come with the setup cartridges. I can't find any good info on how to bypass this step to use the printer. Is this something you can show us? Thanks in advance for your videos.

I've tried unplugging it while it was on, something I read online and can't see any other menu options but I'll check here in about an hour or so when I get home from work. They install nice and easy and click in place etc. Just keeps asking for set up cartridges.
