Been a while 😊
At the beginning of the year (2024), I tweeted on X about the things I hoped to achieve during the year. Top of the list was a laptop and this was pretty straightforward. I’m a mobile photographer and video editor, most of the time when I get paid gigs, I shoot, edit and deliver all on a mobile phone. This hasn’t been the easiest job for me so I needed to get a work station that could handle things better and allow me to explore my creativity.
I initially starting saving up for it since the previous year but each time I was close to clearing my cart, the Naira always had something disappointing to say against the Dollar. Fast forward to this month (February), I was able to secure the sufficient funds to finally clear my cart after about 30% price increase witnessed in only a month 🌚 and over 80% since I added it to my cart.
I’m glad I finally get to handle what I’ve always seen as an image format on my phone (PS: I’ve watched a thousand videos on KZread about it out of anxiety over the months of awaiting). It’s time to get busy with quality work and I’m excited for the future with this new baby!
